Very Useful If You Buy the Right Size May 11, 2009
By Ariel Velez
"OCELOT"
Full Back Posture Support / Posture Aid / Posture Back Brace / Shoulder Back Support This item actually works very well, but make sure to buy the right size. My advice is to buy it a size smaller than your normal size. This is to make sure you have a tight fit and can get the most out of the brace. I got the medium (large being my normal size)and it fits very well. Most importantly it helps me maintain a good posture since I am prone to slouching a lot.

Works fairly well if you are not too active. Mar 20, 2010
By ezboomer This posture support works well if you have an office job, are sedentary or are not too active but doesn't cut it if you are bending or lifting frequently. These activities make it ride up on your torso so it frequently requires readjusting or repositioning. Also as in some of the other reviews, the Velcro straps were too short to fasten in the front. I added strips of Velcro to extend it. I ordered a medium because a large would have been too big. I had ordered this form of support years ago (15 or more?) from Sears before Velcro was used on anything and it worked well. So it is perplexing to me to see that so many reviews talked about the short straps and poor fit. You would have thought that these problems would have been corrected years ago given the length of time this product design has been in existence. The supports that were shown in the women's product area appeared to be more flexible and still supportive for people with active lifestyles. I'll probably buy a type that has a more similar design to this.

Very good product. Be mindful about sizing. Sep 24, 2011
By Akh I read all of the not-so-gloring reviews and initially delayed my purchase. Since there were no alternatives, I finally went with this one and let me tell you I do not regret it at all.
This posture support turned out to be a much superior thing than I expected it to be after reading all the reviews: 1) It doesn't feel cheap at all (at least to me!) 2) It is pretty comfortable: there are soft pads in front of the shoulders that are not visible on the picture 3) You can wear it invisibly under a shirt made of dense material. (You might consider removing the soft pads for invisibility). Basically if you can wear a crispy white A-shirt under your shirt and no one can see the A-shirt, then they wouldn't see this posture support either. 4) And it works! You'll be standing straight as an arrow.
Be very careful about sizing. Sizes are measured by the tape starting from the center of your back, over your should under the opposite arm pit and back to the center of your back. I am a reasonably fit guy with 40" chest and 31"-32" waist. I usually wear M size clothes. I ordered a Large size (34"-38" center of the back) for this support and it fits me perfectly as if it was designed for me.
I think if you are ordering without measuring yourself, as a rule of thumb, order 1 size LARGER than yours (not smaller, as someone here recommended!)
Care instructions: Machine wash. Dry flat. Do not use hot dryer. Do not use iron.

Good product, needed some ajustments though Aug 03, 2009
By A. Borsch This is a great product and it really does help, however the straps on mine twisted and stayed twisted. the twisted bands hurt quite a bit, however I solved it by getting some iron on patches and putting them on where it twists and the problem went away. With this poster support you must have the straps strait or else you will be in for a lot of pain

sizing innacurate Sep 27, 2011
By j_doe When I ordered this I read a review that suggested getting a size smaller. That was horrible advice. I did not follow it; I normally wear a medium and ordered a medium and it was still too small to fasten around my chest. I had to get velcro straps from the store to extend the straps. If you are a guy you should order one size larger to allow enough length to fasten it.
