Works Great!! Aug 09, 2011
By Hannah

As a frequent sufferer of migraines, I have been running out of options. I have tried everything under the bright, evil sun (or so I though...) Until one day, while I was home on R&R-I went to the drugstore to pick up some prescriptions. This was a mom and pop drugstore, so I didn't expect much. Well, I stumbled upon these things while I was waiting (you know how that goes...) and I'm SO glad I did! Note that I have these as well as the Coralite Migraine Cooling Pads...both work phenomenally and I am HIGHLY recommending both of them!
Now, I'm not saying that these are a miracle cure by any means, but once your migraine starts, you are willing to do just about anything to help relieve them. If someone says stand on your head to help relieve tension, you'll try it.
They stick to your head pretty good, and actually provide quite a bit of relief. If you are hurting on one side of your head, you can put it there too. These things are good for about 8 hours of relief-so if you have a migraine longer than that, I highly recommend going to the ER. I have done that quite a few times too. Not a fun process.
Packaging: Okay, for those of you who get migraines-you'll fully understand what I'm about to say. These are easy to open! As weird as it sounds, this is critical when you are in pain. There have been a few times when I have fumbled across these in the dark, not wanting to turn on the light-and have had no issues whatsoever.
I have orderd 50 of these. Seriously. Call it overkill if you want, but I'm in Iraq and we take mail when we can get it. So you can never be too careful, or have too much of something that works. To help enhance the effect of these, you can put them in the fridge for a few minutes, but I have found that even waving them around in the air will make it cool quickly as well.
If you don't thrash around and try to hit everything that moves when you have a migraine (I wouldn't know anything about that...) you shouldn't have any issues whatsoever keeping these on your head.
All in all-they work great, provide much needed relief, and the heat doesn't make them melt out here. Trust me, that makes a huge difference. Note that you can also put them on your tummy, back, or wherever else you might need them. They really do work and do what they are supposed to do : )

WellPatch Migraine Cooling Pads - OK Mar 06, 2011
By Lette85 I suffer from migraines and figured I would try something different. So I bought theses and tried them out. At first it seemed like a good idea since I usually use a cooling gel mask to help sooth the pain and this seemed the cooling would last longer and not sweat like the mask did. It's a bit to big for my forhead and I lay with my face down on the right so it felt a bit weird laying on half of it. Being scared the gel would squeeze out, but it didn't. It seemed to keep cool, but since I used the blanket to block out any light to make the migraine worse, it had a werid annoying smell from it. So we all know migraines, light-smell-noises can trigger it to be worse. So after awhile I couldn't take it anymore. So I had to take it off. It does say you can put it in the frige to make it cooler than normally would just in a cabinet. It also say's you can cut it, but yet again that was something I didn't try.

By Nurse1177 This product is a wonderful addition to my migraine medications!! I use to put a cool washcloth on my forehead but since I stumbled on to these I longer need the messy wet cloth! Like almost all of the other reviews I found them at a very small drug store while waiting on other medications but now am unable to buy them anywhere!! ;(. Thank goodness for online sites that offer them!!!
One of the best out there for migraine sufferers. Oct 21, 2011
By lilbearts Swear by these for my headaches and migraines. They are cooling, pleasant menthol-like odor. Pain usually gone within an hour. Sometimes I put them on when I have a headache before going to bed. Make sure before using to remove all facial oils and/or makeup or it will not stick well. When you run out, if this product works for you and you don't mind a greasy forehead while you are in the house, try Vicks Vaporub -- it works like a dream for me. I spread it all over my forehead and around my temples. I have also used these on my back and sciatica areas for pain relief. Not all head-ache and migraine sufferers get relief from the same types of protocols, but this is worth a try. I even wore one at the office one day; funny to my team; but it got me through :)
