Good workout but be conservative Jul 26, 2010 It took me a while to get this type of equipment right.
First, I started off with the square version. It provided a great workout for my biceps and shoulders, but I was unable to complete many reps no matter how long I stayed at it nor how much I practiced technique.
When I finally moved to the round version, I knew instinctively that this would be easier. So I decided to work my abs and glutes at the same time, and got two of the wheels. I then taped my shoes to the handles on one for the glute workout. Put my shoes on, stretched out, grabbed the handle of the other one, and lifted up. I immediately rolled into the fireplace and bumped my head. After that I found a superior plan was to tie a short rope around my waist and the other end to a nearby piece of (heavy) furniture. This kept me somewhat under control. However, on the third day using it this way my dog started barking at the sliding glass doors. I looked over and caught the guy who cuts my grass taking pictures with his cell phone. He got away before I could get the second wheel untaped from my shoes.
Now I just use the one wheel.
Good workout Jul 19, 2010 It takes some getting use to and its best if you place a yoga mat or something with a bit cushion under your knees. In the beginning you will feel a little unbalanced but as your abs strengthen so will your balance.
Works! Jul 09, 2010 Works the Abs great! Make sure when using, its done correctly. If not, you could get back pain.
Valeo Ab Wheel Jul 04, 2010 Works good. Diffently gives you an abdominal workout. Be careful not to over stretch yourself until you get use to it. You will be very sore for a while.
Valeo Dual Ab Wheel Jun 21, 2010 This product was excatly what I wanted. It is very difficult for beginners, but once you get going it will help you sculp the abs you want. I do about 90 reps a day 30 middle, 30 left, and 30 right 5 times a week and you can tell the difference.
