Cod liver oil is very good for you! Sep 03, 2008
By Aaron Grabill I have been taking Twinlab's cod liver oil for the past few years. I am very pleased with this product, and I know that it has given me great benefits.
Cod liver oil is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids that you'll find. It contains both DHA and EPA in significant quantities. These fatty acids are especially good for reducing inflammation, and maintaining your nervous system. In addition to this, omega-3 fatty acids are very important for optimal brain function.
Cod liver oil has other nutrients also. It contains an abundance of both vitamin A, and vitamin D, as well as small amounts of vitamin K. Overall, this supplement is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone, regardless of how good their diet is.
Grade: A+

AWESOME SUPPLEMENT! Oct 09, 2007
By M. Johnson I actually purchased this supplement from a local health food store and overpaid significantly in comparision to the price offered by Amazon. I bought the Orange flavor and it is absolutely delicious.
This oil is easy for me to absorb and it contains lots of Vitamin A and D which are fat soluble making it a two for one! I highly recommend it!!!

A great health supplement! Feb 14, 2010
By D. Lockman I FAR prefer this unflavored codliver oil to the yukky-tasting (IMO) flavored ones. I don't think it tastes bad at all---And I don't even like fish that much!!
I just swig it--A gulp at a time---Once a day.
No problem.
This is the natural, traditional form of codliver oil.
The real deal works best for me.
Great for the heart, arteries, eyes, skin, and other parts of the human body.

BEWARE ORDER BY ITSELF Dec 11, 2007
By Linda product itself is very good. However, be careful if you are combining this with other items for Amazon's FREE Super Saving Shipping. My 3 bottles were shipped as loose bottles with no packing materials. One bottle leaked. The cod liver soaked the box and my other purchase which luckily was only cough medicine and could be wiped off!

Best CLO I've tried Dec 28, 2009
By E. Whalen I've tried the following forms of cod liver oil: liquid unflavored/plain liquid emulsified mint flavored gelcap this liquid mint flavored
And this liquid mint flavored CLO is the one I like best. Of course, it doesn't taste good (if it did, five stars for sure!!) but this is the easiest one to tolerate. The mint cancels out the gross CLO taste well enough for it to be easy to swallow. I drink some water afterward and there's no after taste or other unpleasant after effects. The three-pack of the regular (non-emulsified) CLO lasts a long time, even though I take one tsp two times per day.
