Blessed Relief from Plantar Fasciitis Apr 26, 2008
By T. Roe Tuli's Heavy Duty Gel Heel Cups, Regular (Under 175lbs) Many years ago, I read in Soccer America of a USA team player who overcame heel bruise problems by using "Tuli heel cups." I filed that fact away in the back of my mind, never thinking it might come to benefit me one day. Flash forward to two years ago when plantar fasciitis (a fancy way of saying debilitating heel bruise) hit me in BOTH heels. My exercise dropped; my weight ballooned. A few months ago, the name "Tuli" magically returned in my mind. I Googled and found that the company is still in existence and still making heel cups. The rest is history. The very first day, with Tuli heel cups inserted inside my socks (and shoes), I hit the treadmill with remarkably little discomfort. I have a vigorous 40-minute walk every day -- on the treadmill and on concrete -- and feel the plantar fasciitis slowly diminishing. The best part is that I CAN walk without discomfort. The heel cups really work!

review of tuli heel cups Sep 02, 2008
By M. Henry My podiatrist suggested these for bone spurs and achilles tendonitis. They are the best heel cups I have found. They have really reduced my heel and achilles pain. I would suggest them to anyone who suffers with this type of problem or pain.

Tuli's Heal Cups Aug 16, 2007
By Mrs. T.K. My physical therapist recommended these for the heal pain I experience from losing the fat pad in my heal. She also recommended Croc shoes. I bought my Tuli's from Amazon because I could get 2 for the price that the therapist office was selling them for. I have been completely satisfied with the product. I have gone from limpping very badly to having some days that are totally pain free, walking normally.

Simply won't work for me! Jan 13, 2011
By Shiloh True
"Rabid Reader"
As an RN (and avid walker), I'm almost constantly on my feet on very hard surfaces, sometimes for 12 hours, or longer. As a result, I have been dealing with the pain of plantar fasciitis that is minor in one foot, but it has me limping, at times, with the other. Anyone with PF knows the tenderness experienced with those first morning steps, particularly after a hard workout the previous day. It is not pleasant!
After reading the recommendations for the Tuli's heel cups, I immediately ordered a pair. I have given them an adequate therapeutic trial, moving them between several pair of my favorite athletic shoes. So far, I have not found a single pair of my shoes, that fit properly when adding these heel cups. The heel cups raise my heel in the foot-bed, to the point that the shoe hits too low on the heel. The result: my heels slide up and down in the shoes---with every single pair. Talk about blister potential.
On the positive side, these heel cups do provide heel protection and absorb some shock. They appear to be made very well and would likely last a good while. Many report that they work well for them and have provided improvement. So, they may work for you---maybe my heels are just goofy. But, to be honest, I have found much more relief with Dr. Scholl's Back Pain Relief Orthotics, with heel shock guard. This is a full shoe insert, that stays in place in the shoe, and it doesn't alter the shoe fit. They really soften the heel-strike. After comparing the Tuli's with the Dr. Scholl's, I think the Scholl's product is five stars---and I'm sticking with them.

Worked for me Jan 08, 2009
By Ron I had what I thought was Planter Fasciitis(PF). A podiatrist I went to, told me that I don't PF, what I suffer from is a lack of padding (ie, fat pad) on the heels of my feet. And that was the cause of my pain. He recommended these heel cups to me. I was very skeptical that they would do anything positive. I was wrong, with in a week of constant use the pain went away. I was surprised and very happy. I have been using these for a few years now, and have tried other brands. These are the best ones I have used so far.
