This does what it is supposed to do, but is a pain in the butt to use. You cannot heat the gel packs in the microwave. You must heat them in boiling water on the stove, which is then WAY too hot to use! Then you must wait for the packs to cool. And although the gel packs have their own mesh pockets to slide into on the wrap, they still move around quite a bit -- especially when using for heat the gel is more of a liquid. Because of this it is very difficult to get the gel packs to stay in the right place when the pain you are trying to relieve in at the top of the shoulder. Also, the mesh pockets are very thin, so the gel packs have almost direct contact with the body. I have had to use a towel between the body and wrap to prevent burning. If you are planning to use this product as a cold pack, you will be very happy.

I love this wrap. It fits well for me, but if I were a man I think it may not fit a s well as the little strap on it barely goes around my arm, and I am not a big woman. I like it that one can use ice or heat. I would recommend having a second gel pack to get the full effect of the warp.

The Tru-Fit shoulder wrap comes in one size, and has 3 straps to adjust its fit. However, I never felt like the shoulder wrap fit my shoulder comfortably. It is probably a good size for a medium-large man's shoulder. The gel pack forms nicely to my shoulder, and gets cold quickly in the freezer (cold enough after about 20 minutes).
