Hmmmmm Dec 02, 2009
By Lady Jennifer Lane Phillips When I purchased the Tru-Fit Ice/Heat Back Wrap With Gel Pack Blue One Size Fits All, I was under the impression, that it was all filled with gel......but......there is a medium sized gel pack, inside of what is predominantly neoprene......neoprene is not going to help my back. I have gel packs that are slightly smaller, and I was going for something that was going to cover my entire lower back.......this is not it. Oh, well......at least, it is a bit bigger, than what I currently own.......c'est la vie :-)

As a shoulder wrap-not well designed Jun 28, 2010
By A. Guzman
"Manny"
The wrap itself is poorly designed. The only way to get it to stay on my shoulder is to put the heated pad on one shoulder and pass the strap under the opposit arm. I am 5'10" weighting 165 lbs and the strap was very tight. Using the heat wrap around the shoulder doesn't work, because the wrap falls off the shoulder. gel pack started leaking after 12 uses in the microwave. Amazon is going to replace it, but I still would not recommend this item. I ordered another wrap, and I'll post if it is better.

Great product for anyone who likes to ice the back Sep 17, 2009
By Avi Smith Works great. Stays in place. Can't think of anything else one would need other than maybe something to cover a larger area.

Great to Have Around Before You Get Hurt Aug 14, 2009
By Carol Lugg When our son sprained his wrist recently, saddle bronc riding, he needed to ice it. The method he was using, (a cloth type of thing I got years ago for migraines, that held a pack of blue ice), tore a large hole in it, we needed a replacement, and fast! We live about an hour from the city, so it is not easy to just drive to the nearest Walgreen's, so I looked to see what Amazon.com might have. I didn't have to look far. The reviews on this were good, and the price was right. I ordered it on the one day service, and it was here, just as promised. It fit our son's wrist perfectly, and he didn't mind using it, because it was pretty comfortable, and stayed where you put it. Probably my only complaint, is that they only give you one gel pack, so if you need to alternate between hot and cold, or need to have another ice as backup when the one you are using gets warm, that means you have to buy extra gel packs. That is kind of frustrating, because the company knows you need to purchase more of their product, but this is what most companies do anymore it seems. Other than that bit of frustration, it worked beautifully, and I am happy to say, our son's wrist is in perfect condition, and he is ready to get on the next horse!

Ice/Heat Back Wrap Jan 28, 2012
By Tom Barnacles I had a back wrap that I was able to put (the whole thing) in the microwave for a minute and half then wrapped it around my back. Absolutely great warmth and it lasted a good 15 minutes if it was under a bathrobe for example. Also it had the hook & loop closure at the end sectons for easily adjusting the fit. I loved this heat wrap. Eventually the gel filled bag ruptured and I had to toss the wrap - used it too much or too hot?
Could not find the same product, no luck at the stores or on the internet. A doggone bummer. Ordered this replacement since it "looked" similar. First of all, it barely fit around my flabbly 42" waist whereas the old broken one had a foot-plus of extra strapping. But what turned me off completely 100% was that you must remove the gel bag from the wrap, heat the bag seperately in the microwave, then insert the hot bag into a flimsy plastic retaining window (which is open on each end). (a) the hot bag was a nuisance to pull out, heat and put back in every few minutes. (b) the hot bag didn't retain the heat very long (maybe 5-6 minutes). (c) if you put the neoprene wrap into the microwave with the bag, it will melt, pop and rupture. (d) after a few uses, when I put the gel bag back into the plastic window in the wrap, then swund the wrap around my back, the gel packet would slip out of the "over-used" plastic retaining window 4 out of 5 times.
A total waste of money for me. Get one only if you like to be frustrated.
