Better than Tylenol! Mar 18, 2008

I use different types of heating pads for muscle pain. This product is especially good for back pain, as it is thin, and, for me, it is comfortable enough (and safe!) to leave under my back to help relive pain and get me to sleep. I am glad I found it on Amazon, as my previous retailer no longer sells it. Recommendations: Only needs about 90 seconds max to heat in most microwaves, and use some sort of light cloth barrier (such as an old T-shirt) between the pad and your skin to help prevent burning yourself in case you overheat it).

I bought this hoping to use it to ice down my legs after running. I was a little worried the wrapping and size of the pads wouldn't be big enough. It all works GREAT. Plus it was a lot cheaper that the other options out there. Love them!!

Great Prduct Sep 22, 2010

As some of you may or may not know you are not supposed to ice for more than fifteen to thirty minutes. The Themalon Heat-Cold pad works great. I recently had back surgery and bought several brands of ice packs. This is one of the strongest and longest lasting designs I have seen even built better than the Cool Pack which an excellent prodcut. The Themalon Heat-Cold Ankle pad worked great for my back and the iced feel last at least thirty minutes. My daughter twisted her ankle and we used it for that too - the velcro strap that comes with the ice pack was awesome for the ankle. You cannot go wrong with this product. It will last many years. Other products I have tried that also contain the clay like substance inside have had a tendency to crack open and the contents of the ice pack would leak out within a year of use. I use this ice pack daily and it shows no ware or tear. Price is awesome and as always Amazon was quick to get the product delivered to my door step. In short you cannot go wrong with this product.
Heat Pad Feb 14, 2011

Very nice pad. I bought it because my therapist uses it when I go for my physical therapy. She wraps my foot and my back with the pads, so it was a must have for me to buy and use at home. My daughter says I am addicted to the pads.:) It works really well to relax those certain areas I need relaxed.
