Cool and unique Jan 25, 2011

I was hesitant to get this because of the lack of reviews. I've only used Jade infrared for a short time but it is really cool. It gives a deep warmth that puts regular heating pads to shame. Also, after talking to the manufacturer I was assured Amazon offers the same quality and technology, and the slightly lower price at Amazon and Promolife.com, among other distributers, is intentional to help them distribute. I like both distributers.
Getting to the product, it's a little awkward, being filled with a seemingly space-age gel. There is no off-on switch, you plug it in, red is charging, and green is warm. If it doesn't do anything it's probably not plugged in firmly. You can tell when it's plugged in and charging. I don't know if it gets hotter left on red for longer, but at least wait for the green light to switch on. It holds the warmth amazingly well at just the right temperature. It's a little bulky and you can feel a little silly with this big gushy pack, but it must be some crazy space age gel to hold the heat so well at just the right temperature.
Cool product.
