I was a little nervous ordering this heating pad because of the expense. I worried that the jade stones might be uncomfortable and had decided I'd probably have to use a towel between me and the pad. Well, I certainly needn't have worried...the pad is so flexible and comfortable. I'm so glad not to have to use the plastic heat pad anymore. I really like the fact that I can control the heat with more than just low, medium and high. I like being able to set the timer instead of losing heat after ten minutes. I can feel the deep heat in my back which is primarily where I use it. I fall asleep on it every night and turn it on in the morning before I get up. I lie on it during the day when I feel the need. I really like this product and would buy it again.

I've been having a great deal of pain for the past year. I know heating pads, but this is so much more. It's comfortable, I can totally control the heat & time. I use it on my feet, my stomach, on my back, my lower belly. To not worry it will get too hot & have the time to boot, it's wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Well i have to disagree with the other reviews.I ordered this item from USA and waited in anticipation for a very long time for it to arrive to me in Australia.I bought this mat hoping it would cause deep relaxation and to promote sleep as it said the infrared heat can penetrate up to 3inches.Well it definately doesn't penetrate anywhere near 3 inches deep.I expected to feel the warmth go deep into my skin/tissues and cause me to melt into a state of deep relaxation but dissapointingly it didnt have that effect.To its benefits the mat does have a nice heat and goes up to a good temperature and doesnt give any burning feelings even at the highest temperature and the mat it very good quality and comfortable but it definately isnt for someone wanting DEEP relaxation but is probably good for if you have injuries etc.Also theres a few bulky adaptors/cords which are a bit space consuming and could have been better designed.Over all i give it 3 stars.

I ordered this heating pad last May from Lose the Back Pain and it took nearly three months to come, when it arrived it had obviously been used, little things like the cords was not neatly wrapped like it would have been from the factory, the plastic cover was not on the LED screen, there were fingerprints on the controls but it did work and i had waited so long for it and had such high hopes that it would help my chronic sore hip that I kept it. The pad itself works ok (but I'm not sure that it is any better than a good quality heating pad from the drug store) but the system for the controls is very clumsy and poorly designed. There are two separate cords and the heat control plugs into the power chord with a silly little plug affair that keeps coming out. it has come out and been put back so often that now it doesn't work at all. I have contacted the company that I bought it from Lose the Back Pain but they have not responded. Given the high price for this product and it's poor performance I would not recommend it oh yeah! and my hip still aches all night. It all sounds kind of negative but in my opinion it is true, not a very helpful product.
