Keeps me going in the morning Jun 09, 2008
By Susan H I wake up at obsence hours of the morning. Sometimes 4am, sometimes 3am and on occassion 2am for work. This tea gives me the energy I require. I drink it every morning w/o getting a caffine high, it keeps me going. I put one package of Stevia as a sweetner. My husband likes Stevia and honey in his. As w/ any coffee or tea product, I would recommend regular teeth whitening. I like Aqua Fresh Trays.

This is a good tasting tea and it's good for you too. Jul 02, 2008
By J. Kalman After searching the stores in my area for yerba mate I finally found it here on Amazon.com. I just received my order today and was really excited to try it. I cold brewed the tea by placing 2 tea bags in 20 oz of cold filtered water and letting it sit for about 20 minutes. I put a little white sugar and lemon juice and poured the cold brewed tea over ice. The color of the tea when brewed is a pea green, but don't let that frighten you. The flavor is very similar to most teas I've tried but it has an after taste that isn't at all unpleasant. It's very refreshing and it does what it says. It gives you energy without the caffeine jitters. I look forward to using Yerba Mate to replace my morning coffee.
I highly recommend this tea to everyone that wants an energy boost with out getting the jitters. I plan on trying some of the other flavors like the Chai and the Lemon Ginger.
My favorite mate Apr 17, 2011
By Jason D. Luna I drink 16oz. of this every weekday morning, and then drink coffee on the weekends. When I drink this mate, I mix in honey. It's awesome and I thoroughly enjoy drinking it.
NO FLAVOR Dec 15, 2010
By T. Noah Mate Factor yerba mate is extremely mild tasting. I can scarcely tell that I'm drinking anything more than hot water. I'm sure it has the health benefits as any mate would, and being air dried is a plus, so I give it an extra star for a total of 2. BUT, If you enjoy the rich, thick flavor of a good mate (while still remaining Unsmoked), I'd recommend ECO TEAS organic yerba mate over this.
Try the dark roast mix by Mate Factor (includes barley, roasted mate, chicory, etc.) if you want something a little different for a change, it was good.
