 Very easy to use and fold - great product May 08, 2010

I purchased this for my father, who became ill. My mother, who is 76 years old, was able to fold this chair by herself and load it in her car for him. It's lightweight and easy to push also. We needed to put a cushion on the seat as the edge of the seat frame has a metal bar that became uncomfortable. Other than that, it's a great product. The only thing I'd add to the design is some sort of storage or hook for items, just like strollers have, as it's hard to push, open doors, and hold things at the same time.

I have bought this wheelchair because seemed very light , small and comfortable .
I have a cheap wheelchair , the weight and the size is very similar . When you close the chair is not easy to carry , my old cheap wheelchair occupy less space and is very much easy to carry .
The chair is very uncomfortable , you are seated over many tubes , you can not be seated for a long time .
Is big , heavy , uncomfortable to use and to carry .
I am very disappointed .

I found this folding transport chair to be the best purchase I have made in ages! My mother is 90 yrs old with Alzheimers. On her bad days, which by far out number her good ones, she does't understand what I'm asking her to do. It was impossible to get her out of bed or to her chair in the living room or even to bathe her in the shower..I always had to wait for someone to come and help me. Otherwise she was confined to her bed. With this transport chair, because it has fold away arms I an able to do everything by myself. It even sits under the dining room table nicely. I can transfer her from bed to any location with ease. And it turns on a dime. Not to mention the price was very reasonable. I would definately order from these people again. And to think I was worried about its possiblities after I ordered it but before it arrived. Also it arrived within four days! How's that for service? I had also priced a similar chair from a local mobility store for the 'sale price" of 749.00. Don't be worried. Buy it! I also went through Amazon.com for the purchase. It also fits nicely through a bathroom door with a 24" opening.

Best Transport wheelchair ever!!! Dec 03, 2010

After searching allover the internet I found this super light transport wheelchair I needed for a trip I was going to with my elderly father. It is so easy to use, it was like unfolding a baby stroller or even easier! This wheelchair works best on even surfaces, not recommended on cobblestone surfaces due to the small wheels. After our trip my dad was so grateful that I was able to find such a great item he called "the moving beach chair" I only use the bag to store the wheelchair, it was difficult to bag the wheelchair and to take out, not practical :(

Phenomenal chair - it made our cruise May 11, 2011

Just returned from a Caribbean Cruise - Mom is 87 & has severe COPD We can't say enough about this chair - comfortable - very simple to collapse, pops up easily & very stylish. We used it in the airport all the way up to the door of the plane - then collapsed it & gate checked it. Onboard our cruise - it went from the pool, to dinner, to the nightly shows. Everywhere we went people stopped us to inquire about the chair & where to purchase it. The good news - it is narrow enough to easily pass thru the stateroom doors. It even made it to Jamaica's Dunn's River Falls where Mom sat on an overlooking deck. GREAT PURCHASE! Thanks for the memory ...
