NO Auto Shut-off! Jul 28, 2007
By Patricia J. Buist Hard to find king-size heating pads that don't have the bothersome auto-shut-off feature. This is a good buy.

Works great... Mar 09, 2007
By OneQuartLow Nothing special to report. Toasty, no annoying auto-shutoff, cord is plenty long.

Average Quality Jun 01, 2009
By Darena Shopz This king size heating pad is of average quality.
Cons: * I don't like the blue cover, it's an uncomfortable polyester fabric. * It hums and is kind of annoying if you are using near your head.
Pros: * 3 heat settings. * Fast heat-up. * Large size, 12" x 24". * Long cord, 9 ft. long.
It does not have auto-shut off. I didn't list that under pros or cons because it depends on what you are looking for.
Overall, it's a fine heating pad but I like a cotton cover much better.

NO AUTO SHUT-OFF Jul 18, 2010
By V. Thomas It took me forever to find this original style heat pad with NO AUTO SHUT OFF. Been using a heat pad for over 20 years (for back problems) and have tried every make, model and style and this Sunbeam is the best. I was extremely upset when I could no longer find a heat pad without that stupid auto shut-off feature. It probably took me over a year to finally find this one on Amazon although I purchase books here all the time, I never thought to check for a heat pad. I bought 2 pads because I'm afraid that I won't be able to find this pad in the future. I love the King Size Pad so much that I had thick (terry towel) covers made to replace the thin blue cover that it is sold with. THANKS for offering this product, it is my favorite "find" of the year!

BASIC HEATING PAD May 22, 2007
By J. LIVERMORE Your basic heating pad. Low, med., high and off. I prefer the older types over the new for two reasons. One, the digital ones have to be unplugged because the controls stay warm from the electricity coursing through them. Two, I prefer washing the cover instead of washing the entire pad, which is common on the newer models.
