excellent moist heating pad for back and neck pain Nov 02, 2008
By S. Winters This heating pad is just excellent for back and neck pain. 90 seconds in the microwave and you get 30-45min of moist heat that relaxes your muscle spasms. I love it! I'm an Emergency Physician and am recommending it to any patient who has such symptoms.

If you want moist, hot heat don't look anywhere else! I love this pad, it's easy to warm up in the microwave and it a nice size to put on your back, shoulder or anywhere you need warm moist heat! What's great about this pad it's so portable, I need it for my lower back and I just tuck it inside my pants and travel around the house. Try that with those cheap plug in pads!!!!!

Guess I don't like moist heat Dec 07, 2011

I read the positive reviews on this item, so decided to give it a try. I've always used dry heat, but not for any reason, just because that's what I found in the stores. I have an upper back/shoulder pain that's recurring. The heating pad worked as described, heated up just fine and stayed warm for a decent amount of time. I would not be happy having to reheat it as often as it needs to be done, though. But I really don't like the feeling of moisture along with the warmth. It made my hair damp when I put it on my neck. It made my shirt damp when I put it on my back. Guess I shouldn't fault the heating pad for doing it's job, but I really didn't like it.

The best! Sep 03, 2009

This thing is fantastic. I have used it for neck muscle problems caused by sleeping in the wrong position. You know, the kind where you can't even turn your head? Well, this product brought immediate relief. I've now bought one for my mom and 2 friends and they all love it too. The moist heat it creates really penetrates in a way I haven't found with other types of heating pads.
