Good for the price Aug 03, 2009
By A. K. This is an inexpensive heating pad that seems to work very well. The cord is long, which I like. It heats up fast, and it has an automatic shut-off after 60 minutes as a safety feature. I also like the moist heat option.
UPDATE 12/17/2011: I still have this heating pad. I use it very often and it still works perfectly. I'd say it is well worth the cost.

Good product Oct 18, 2007
By J. Brown I've used this product now a few times and I am very pleased with it. The heat levels are just what I need and the size/flexibility help covering most areas of the body. The material is perfect for the skin, very smooth and soft. The timer is a great function that helps when using it at night. Overall, the product is worth the money.

Won't work with an extension cord! Sep 23, 2011
By Verity Brown You'd think that the manufacturer would realize that heating pads, more so than most other appliances, may have to be used where there's no wall outlet handy. But NO, this manufacturer has designed a heating pad that won't work properly with an extension cord. It comes on initially just fine, but once it goes into automatic shut-off mode, the on/off/set temp switch will not operate unless the pad is plugged directly into the wall. I'm very glad I didn't spend more on a fancier model of this heating pad. Also, the CSR at Kaz claimed that this limitation is described in the owner's manual. It isn't.

Not warm enough Nov 30, 2011

This is on the one hand a nice inexpensive heating pad. I actually bought mine at Walmart for $11.85 so you might want to check you local Wmart. But for my shoulder on the mend it is not quite hot enough - soft heat would be most accurate just like its name. If you would like a little theraputic heat for the back it might work for you.
