5Excellent results with sleep right night guard!  Oct 27, 2007
By Donna Marie
I have been using this product for approximately five years. After being diagnosed with TMJ problems, I was given a sleep right night guard by my chiropractor to try. I had been experiencing head aches, and ear problems before I began using the night guard. Since using the night guard I no longer experience head aches or ear problems when waking up in the a.m. I do have to replace the sleep right about every 3 months due to clenching so hard that I wear them out in about 3 months. If you have TMJ related problems I would suggest you try the Sleep Right night guard. I have had the best results with the low profile. It seems to be more comfortable for sleeping.

5Great for grinders - but be sure you get the newest version  Jun 16, 2011
By Silly name "Silly name"
Having used lots of different dental guards for severe bruxism, I finally found this one which has done a much better job even than guards custom made for me by dentists. The guard even has started correcting my uneven bite (as the dentist has confirmed), done in the night without any work involved :-)
If you grind a lot like me, you may find that they don't last forever though - I need a new one every 5 months or so.
Be sure to ask the seller to send you the latest version of the Dura - the company (SleepRight) has updated the model in the last couple of years, with major improvements to the bite pads (wider and thicker) and a less flimsy wing design. I have once received the old version from a seller here on Amazon and had to give it up since it moved out of position during the night and therefore didn't work to prevent grinding.

5wonderful purchase.  Jul 14, 2007
By A. Hughes
recently, i purchased the sleepright adjustable low-profile night guard for some severe nightly grinding. this night guard was the first out of about 4 or 5 that i have purchased that actually fit my mouth properly. it gives 4-5 adjustments that can be used to fit yourself properly. my mouth closes completely when i wear it during the night. also, it is designed so that it does not move around at all while you sleep. i highly recommend this product to anyone that has found other options too bulky. i plan on continuing to use this as long as i continue to grind... which could be forever. i know that i will be absolutely satisfied with it!

5The first mouthguard I can actually sleep with  Nov 01, 2007
By E. Smith
I've had this mouthguard about a week and I absolutely love it. I grind my teeth pretty bad when I sleep so I always wake up with sore spots on the sides of my tongue. I was a bit hesitant to spend $40 on a plastic mouthpiece but it has been so worth it!

Not only are the sore spots on my tongue completely gone, but I have no trouble keeping the mouthguard in my mouth all night long. With other devices, I would unknowingly remove it in the middle of the night. But that has not happened to me even once. It's very comfortable and I would highly recommend it!

2Hurt my mouth  Jul 15, 2011
By Abby
The price was right to try this out, but the sides were too tall for my mouth. They left my gums feeling sore and bruised and I couldn't wear it the next night. I'm female, with what I'd guess is an average mouth size. My husband also tried one of these, but after a friend said that their dentist-made mouth guard has lasted many years, he decided to go that route. I wouldn't recommend this product, but if you want to try it, females (at least) should go for the low profile version.
