 Sinupret clears my sinuses Oct 05, 2009

While standard decongestant products seem to clear nasal passages pretty well, they don't do much for clearing the sinuses - and they can keep you awake or give you the jitters. But if I take Sinupret, there is an antihistamine effect, in that allergens don't get me sneezing, my nasal passages clear, and gradually, the accumulated mucus in the sinuses goes away. I don't detect a single side effect. Sinupret seems to operate like a nutrient rather than a medicine, in that the best effects develop over day or two, rather than a quick yanking down of a specific symptom followed by a rebound, as in other OTC products or even prescription drugs. To me that means that some sort of healing process is taking place, rather than just a palliation of symptoms, and I like that. It's not cheap, but it's pretty good stuff.

This is the best decongestant anywhere. Non drowsy and no noticeable side effects whatsoever. It is a phytochemical product that has been the leading decongestant in Germany for more than 30 years. I originally bought is about 10 years ago over the counter in a retail drug store under a label owned by one of the big pharmaceutical companies, at a time when I was experiencing severe nasal problems. It was a godsend. However, the company pulled it from the shelves and the only place I could buy it for many years was from a retail pharmacy in Germany. Now it is available through Amazon and I am thrilled. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I am currently living in Germany and was so happy to see it's now available in the states. We are moving back to the US and I was wondering if I need to bring a big supply to last a while. It works better than any antibiotic that doctors will give you when they suspect a sinus infection and best of all it's natural! You start feeling the pressure go away after the second dose. I highly recommend it to anyone who has sinus problems of any kind.

On a visit to Europe, I stopped in an apotheke in Austria for some relief of my sinus congestion & inflammation. The doctor recommended Solvopret(Sinupret here in the US) and I took 3 per day for a week or two, and these take a couple days to become effective, because they are support for your natural immune system, not an instant symptom cover up. The body is capable of doing amazing things, like seeking out and destroying allergens, but sometimes assistance is needed, as the body's defense systems are ineffective when your sinuses are completely clogged. You must immediately unclog your sinuses for you body to effectively heal. Sinupret is that assistance. It is critical however to take these religiously! Don't miss a single one, and take them 3 times a day equally spaced so your body has a constant stream of assistance of these herbs. I would highly recommended this product for anyone suffering maxillary sinus pain and congestion.

Purchased this after getting the kids version for my daughter who wouldn't stop coughing for WEEKS. Needless to say - both work like a charm, AND boost your immunity when you are healthy. This company is fab - highly recommend.
