Disappointing Color Bath Fun Apr 29, 2011
By Cyndi Morquan I bought this for my 3 year old grandson, and he loves it, however, I admit I am very disappointed with the product. I wish I had looked around more before purchasing them. It comes 24 tablets to a container, and we had to use two tablets to make the water have more color, and I only filled our average tub with less than 1/2 tub of water. It was very translucent with only tablet, not really a noticeable color, so we added another tablet to have more color.
Last week while out shopping with my daughter at a specialty toy store, we saw another similar child's bath color product, it was priced at $7.99. It contained 30 tablets, with no shipping costs. By the time I had paid for the shipping on my bath product it was close to $11.00, so the value for quantity and quality really shrinks. I have since seen this same product at Babies R Us, their price is $7.99, a much better value.
Then I discovered another source to buy the color tablets, because my grandson does like them, and he did have fun with them, so I want to buy more, but will not buy this small 24 tablet package ever again.
YOUR BEST DEAL IS RIGHT HERE AT AMAZON!!!!
I went to the Beauty section, and also Toys and Games, and found a BIGGER Sesame Street container, it has 100 tablets!!!!!! for the price of $13.15 This is a much better deal. I have it on order, and am sure my grandson will have long lasting fun making colors, even if we have to use two, it will last much longer with 100 tablets!
Here is the actual name for the bigger package, go to either Beauty, or Toys and Games, enter search for "Sesame Street Fizzy Tub Color Tablets - 10.4 oz. by Sesame Street"
Honestly, I feel quite disappointed that Amazon does not cross list products side by side to compare them. I always read the reviews on products before I buy them, so I was aware of the other '3 star' reviews.
I hope this is helpful for others who might purchase this....don't buy this smaller version, get the bigger one, it is a better value for your money, even with Shipping & Handling. You will have many, many happy baths with big smiles...

We used crayola and were very disappointed. They are expensive, and have to use multiple tablet. The Sesame Street one have much more vibrant colors, they have become part of our bath time routine!

CAREFUL! May cause breathing problems. Feb 22, 2012
By G. Taylor-Goode My 8 and 10 year old used this tonight and all of us experienced a bitter taste in our mouths and throat along with constant coughing by my asthmatic daughter. I just stepped in to check on my 10 year old who used 2 tablets in a full tub of warm water and left with a headache and nauseating feeling. I can't wait to hear what the company's feedback will be.

Bad For Bubbles Oct 26, 2011
By StefB If your child loves bubble baths this may not be the product for you.
Only the bath water gets colored so your child may never notice, or care, that the water beneath the cloud of bubbles is colored. The only time I got any reaction out of my 2 year old was when I placed some bath soap into a cup and dissolved two tablets turning the soap purple. I then placed the purple bath soap under the running faucet. Colored water erupted from the cup but the bubbles were still white.
Despite my bubble gripe I do find that the tablets color water well. I have to use at least two tablets to get a vibrant color to the water but that seems reasonable considering I use 8-10 gallons of water in the tub. I'm also happy that the colored tablets don't leave any stains on my daughter's skin, the tub, or the non slip tub mat.
I want to also note that the two times I've used these drops the dust from the product really irritated me. Whenever I would open the jar dust settled into my nose and throat and made me uncomfortable. I've thrown away the cotton puff that comes in the jar; I think pulling that out propels dust into the air, so perhaps that will help. My child hasn't complained so it could just be that I'm a bit more sensitive than others. The product does claim to be safe and non-toxic so I will continue using what I've purchased but I won't be buying this item again.
