Beware of customer service Nov 21, 2007
By Nathaniel Gordon

I am a spin instructor at my schools gym and all of the bikes we have use these pedals. They are a good concept but have some issues. For one thing, my spd shoes didn't fit the spd side of the pedal, so I had to use my look style shoes. Second, the look pedal is very loose and I'm not sure how to tighten it, which brings me to my main point and reason for writing this review. The customer service for these pedals is atrocious. A screw came out of the back of one of the pedals at the gym I teach at, so I called Schwinn to get information about how to repair it instead of purchasing a whole new pair. They told me that the pedals are not actually made by Schwinn but only carry the Schwinn logo so they therefore have no documentation on the pedals. Furthermore, I was told that they don't even have the name of the company that manufactures the pedals, which seems ludicrous to me. I was told that there was really nothing they could do and that my best course of action would be to buy a whole new set. Pretty convenient that the only solution is to send more money their way.

Beware... Jun 28, 2011
By 4wheelers I guess I really can't say if I like these or not because I didn't understand that they CLIP ON to an existing SPD or Look pedal. I thought they were going to be like the ones at the gym where there is a SPD clip on one side and a cage on the other. The bike I have at home has cages only so now I get to return them and figure out where to get the ones I want.

Toe Clip part is very painful Mar 21, 2011
By Jack Neck I bought three pairs of these for my indoor cycling studio. It was shown as a common pedal for indoor cycling classes and I assumed everyone cant be wrong......well....they were kind of wrong.
As a SPD or Look pedal I had no complaints from clients.
For clients who used their gym shoes I had complaint after complaint. I decided to take the class with the bikes with these pedals and my feet still hurt a week later. I don't think there is enough foot space for the shoe and and the whole class I felt like all my weight was at the very front of my foot.
I am returning the three pairs that I bought and replacing them with the stock pedals until I find a spd/toe clip variation that is comfortable.

A Perfect Fit Jun 20, 2009
By Nance NKA I own a used studio cycle and broke a pedal. We searched the internet and finally found exactly the same pedal as the one I broke. They are sold in pairs, so I now have a spare. Beautiful.

I bought this pedal for my bodycycle stationery bike. It fits well, it looks good and I like that its capable of using spd shoes or regular sneakers. I would recommend this to anyone. What a great product!!!
