Salonpas Gel really works in taking away pain! Best product that I have ever used. The patches work too but not nearly as fast as the gel. Wish I had learned about this product long ago! Needs to be advertised more so that more people can take advantage of it. I have given 3 tubes away to friends who really needed it. It also helped them immensely.

The product deserves five stars, but the odor caused me to downgrade it one. If you are an athlete and odor doesn't matter, just be careful not to overuse. There are anti-coagulation properties of this product, so slight muscle tears need prompt ice application.

I began using this gel twice/day on a stiff knee. I found that I needed to apply it three times/day to get continuous relief. However, because I didn't want to apply body lotion that would diminish its effectiveness, the skin on my knee (front and back) became irritated from the gel. As a result, I had to discontinue using it.

i use the patches helped my back and knees daily also no i found topical gel it better yet great product. nothing compares to it really ive tried em;
