A MUST have filtration system if you have allergies or live where the air is polluted!!! Oct 01, 2010

I bought the Rabbit Air Minus A2 system and this filter kit specifically because I was living overseas in Naples, Italy. The air is very polluted and this made a HUGE difference in the air quality in our Villa. A MUST HAVE. This system is the best combined HEPA/carbon filter product out on the market. It specifically has a filter that targets toxins. If you live where the air quality is poor because there is constant burning of trash, farm waste, leaves, and/or wood you should buy this system. Yes it is very expensive, but can you really put a price on your health. The system works like a champ. I had (2) running 24 hrs/ 7 days a week for just over 2 years. It had no issues!

Hard to say much about this, other than if you have the Rabbit Air purifier, you do need to remember to change the filters annually (at minimum). We ran a little longer (about 18 months) simply because we forgot. We've just installed the replacement set and we do notice a difference. We now have calendar alarms set up to keep us on the "straight and narrow" in terms of changing the filters on time from now on. Pretty easy to install these as well - a nice bonus.

Purchased this replacement filter kit after having had the Germ Defense in my Rabbit Purifier for a year. I chose the Odor Reducing model this time around for my wife's morning sickness. I have the Minus A2 and didn't want to spend the $$ for a new air filtration unit. She had staying asleep due to the cooking smells in our kitchen and so it was a no brainer. Replacement was easy as usual. You detach the front panel of the Minus A2 and then remove the 4 filter and pre-filter casing follow the order with the included instruction and bam it is ready to go. Before doing so, you need to vacuum the existing dirt piled on the pre-filter.
The change is not instantaneous. Nor can we actually take Rabbit Air's Claim that it actually removes odors with the naked eye or just the ordinary nose. However, my wife's morning sickness was subdued the next morning and well, subjectively speaking of course, it works! It may not do wonders, but it worked to a point where the wife was not bothered. The unit did an amazing job absorbing the odors and blasting fresh, filtered air throughout the room. However, every time I stepped out the bedroom door, the cooking smells abruptly blasted through my nose and noticed the difference in the air quality. It made me want to go back in to my bedroom and stay there.
PROS:
+ Easy installation
+ Works as advertised
+ 4 filters plus special odor reducing filter work together to clean the air
CONS:
- Price (Was worth it for me at any cost)
Is it worth it? Price wise, no. But for the sake of my wife and baby on the way's well being, yes! No question about that!
I just wish Amazon sold these instead of Rabbit Air exclusively so I can use Prime.
Even with expedited shipping for $20 more, it took nearly a week to get to me!
Does that subtract one star? No, I am reviewing the filter itself and not the vendor nor shipping speed.

The Rabbit Air has been the best working air filter I have come across. Having gone through a few HEPA air filters in my time, the Rabbit ends up being the most stylish, quiet and effect air filter I've owned. The mood light adds a pleasant glow, and the included remote makes remote adjustments a cinch. For those of us that need and air filter, its stylish design no longer makes it stick out like a sore thumb in a room.
It is worth its extra price. I original used the pet filters, but have now switched to this one.

these filters work great. they really do take the pet smell out of the air. rabbit air makes a great product and have great customer service. you will not be disappointed.
