 Very nice with only a few flaws Oct 28, 2008

My wife and I have used this product nearly every day for two years and it has mostly been working great. I really like the motion of this machine compared to other ellipticals. Resistance levels from 0-10 give a wide range of resistance. Calorie counts, RPMs, and other items are tracked, and they do adjust for the different resistance levels. Also, it has two cup holders, one for water and one for remote controls. After two years of use I have not noticed any reduction in resistance.
Problems: 1. At low resistance (0-2) the left roller tends to lift off the rail, making an annoying banging sound as it lands back on the rail. This may be a flaw in my unit; however, the repair people were unable to fix it. Since I use resistance of 5-8, it's not a big deal. 2. My right foot pedal cracked and had to be replaced. 3. It has a heart rate monitor but it doesn't seem to work all that great.
Assembly wasn't too difficult but it did take a couple hours. Overall we're very satisfied with our purchase.

DO NOT BUY THIS!. The worst customer support EVER. I just purchased one and it was defective from the factory. Now they want ME to pay to get it fixed and they didn't even apologize. Again....DO NOT BUY!

I purchased this product when it was known as Proform XP 180, about seven years ago. It was fine to start with, but it started to get rough after a while. The only issues that I encountered was the battery replacement, and the fan didn't have a high/low control.It didn't keep me cool.I just sold it to my trainer and now I'm looking for a replacement. Nothing has changed about this one except for the name. All in all, it's a good machine.
