Long-lasting Relief Jul 29, 2010 I would highly recommend this product to anyone that suffers from frequent heartburn and indigestion. Before taking this product I suffered with indigestion caused by acid reflux on a regular basis which made it impossible to enjoy various types of food. I was prescribed a prescription drug, but find prilosec to be just as effective and less expensive. I take one pill every morning and have no problems with indigestion throughout the day or acid reflux at night. If you don't want to take it everyday Prilosec is great to take as a preventive measure if you are planning to eat something that has caused indigestion in the past. It works fast and is long-lasting. My indigestion and acid reflux are a thing of the past!
Finally my husband has relief Jul 25, 2010 My husband has been using this under his doctor's recommendation for over a year now. He had struggled for a long time with no relief with other medications.
He has tried generic formulation (one of the warehouse stores) and did not have as good of results. So Amazon's subscribe and save has been a nice cost savings. Because he is using this under his doctor's recommendation (ie he has a prescription) he will be able to continue to use this with his FSA when the rules change in 2011.
Great Product Jul 23, 2010 We use daily before breakfast and it prevents heartburn in the early morning hours, helps to not overeat, too.
Lifesaver Jul 15, 2010 Love Prilosec - have not had heartburn since I've been taking it. Love the autoship feature with amazon plus the discount.
Works great at a GREAT price Jul 13, 2010 I used to use Zantac 150 to control my heartburn but I would need to take 2-3 of them daily. Now all I take is one prilosec and I'm good all day - no matter what I eat. Amazon's pricing for 48 at my time of purchase was 27 cents per pill - which makes it cheaper than even generics in my area.
