Pop what? Sep 30, 2008
By Indygrrl I was skeptical when I first read that Popchips were not fried nor baked, but popped. How many times have I ventured into the somewhat scary world of healthy snacks? But I was very surprised when I tried them and immediately found myself becoming one of their biggest spokesperson. I even sent a case to my family in Indiana.
I haven't tried every variety, but of the ones I have, I crave the BBQ Popchips and the Salt/Vinegar Popchips!

Best chip ever, ESPECIALLY BBQ flavor Jul 29, 2010
By Valisha R. Cooks I am officially a pop head. Not only is the the hands down best chip I've ever had the people who work for the POP CHIP brand are super cool. I emailed them to tell them how much I loved the chips and they sent me a hand written thank you note and a free sample of all their flavors. Now that's how American Business should be run. All these companies with AWFUL customer service should take notes from them. Their small gesture just made a customer for LIFE.

I'm not big on chips period, however I do like salt and vinegar chips when they are not greasy and thick. My husband brought home a bag of salt and vinegar Pop Chips and I tried them and loved them! Especially since they are NOT fried and don't have that un-tasty "healthy" baked lack of flavor. I wanted to try the other flavors so I bought the mixed flavors on Amazon. I have to say, my favorite is the salt and vinegar-but I'm vinegar mad. The black pepper and sour cream and onion come in second, then the cheese and plain. My least fav is the bbq as the flavor is just too strong for me. I like that its a kind of "junk food" product I can have in the house and not feel guilty about because it only tastes like its bad for you!

Awesome Alternative to Chips! Sep 12, 2011
By gamerK I was skeptical from all the bad reviews and the warnings that these would never replace real chips (my one real dieting weakness) and I was worried my boyfriend wouldn't even try them. But, I got a box of 2 of each flavor to check them out.
I was very surprised at the amount of flavoring on each chip, and although it's not the traditional crunch of a ruffle, it's perfect for tricking yourself while still maintaining a better food habit. The serving size is about 22 crisps, which is a lot if you actually count them out, and it's easy to portion out 3 servings per bag. My boyfriend even likes them now and we are impressed that the barbeque flavor (one of our least favorite varieties of regular chips) is still extremely tasty and satisfying.
If you are on the fence about these and don't want to waste $20 in case you don't like them, pick your favorite flavor and buy just one 3 oz bag. I don't regret it since I haven't been depriving myself completely of my favorite cripsy snack, even when I go to parties I'm not overly tempted to stuff a handful of salty, greasy chips into my mouth. Since I've been bringing the bags into work, I've gotten coworkers hooked as well :) Overall, a really good find.

Great variety of flavors Jul 16, 2010

I love PopChips. They're delicious and less greasy than regular chips. I bought the variety pack to try out the different flavors. Having tried them all, I recommend "barbecue" and "salt and pepper". Costco offers the huge economy size of barbecue PopChips at a better price. Enjoy.
