 The new Obus *Ultra* Forme is much better than this one May 13, 2007

I purchased this Obus Forme High-back Backrest and found it wanting. It helped some - but the basic design is flawed because of its concaved nature. I returned it and purchased the new Obus *Ultra* Forme Backrest and love it. It is more expensive, but the design is radically different than anything that I have seen and it works much better than this model. By the way, Amazon makes return rather easy if a product doesn't work out.

I have had Cervical Dystonia for several years. My type of this neurological condition causes my head to move back involuntarily. Many movie theaters, restaurants, etc., and even my Neurologist's waiting room have low backed chairs which make sitting very unpleasant for someone with my condition. When I heard about this product I knew I had to order one. This high-back backrest has significantly improved my quality of life and (since it is very light weight) I intend to carry it with me wherever I know I will be sitting in a low back chair for any length of time. I can't recommend this product highly enough.

I have a bad back, but I have never driven a car that was too uncomfortable for me to sit in. I just bought a brand new car and realized after driving it around a while that the seat was hurting my back. I had test driven the car but did not notice that the seat was uncomfortable until a longer car ride. No one else, including friends I have that own the same car, have problems with the seat so I did not even think twice about it. I ended up having chronic pain all day and night as I drove the car more and more. Instead of enjoying my new car, I was dreading having to drive it because it was so painful. I tried many, many back supports and this was the first that worked for me. Not only did it work, but it actually soothed my back and made it feel better! After one full day with about an hour and a half worth of driving, my back is barely bothering me anymore! I am so thankful that I found this...now I can enjoy my new car without back pain!

I love the high back Obusforme. It has a lumbar support that is moveable and it is high enough to support my head comfortably. I have cervical dystonia, a neuromuscular disorder that periodically leaves me with a weak neck that doesn't want to hold up my head. I just sit back and my Obusforme supports me everywhere. I highly recommend it. Delivery was prompt and the product was in great condition. Thanks, Obusforme.

"Back problem family"
The Obus Forme High-Back Backrest is an absolute must for people with back problems. It is easy to bring along to movie theaters, restaurants, dinner parties etc. We started out buying out one for my mother in-law and when we tryed it out we went ahead and got one for both my husband and me. Of course we also bought the seat that match the back rest, and we have no problems going out to public events anymore. We bought some velcro to attach the seat and the backrest together so they "flap" around when carried, and it works. My morther in-law bring her seat to church every day.
