Love this product Dec 03, 2006
By Jennifer The reason I bought this product the first time is because it had a small tag line under the brand name of being a sensual moisturizer that intrigued me. After trying it one time, I have been a complete fan of this moisturizer. It soaks right in and never leaves my legs feeling greasy or dry. Use it after bathing and you will see a total difference in the way your skin feels. The scent is light (I really don't notice it at all)but if you prefer unscented-Neutrogena does sell an unscented version. And it's also great to use on your partner because the scent that is there is neither feminine or masculine and it helps your hands glide...I have had no complaints. ;-)

Neutrogena Body Oil, Original, 16oz (Pack of 2) Nov 06, 2006
By Fivetalents I loooooove this stuff! I have used it for more than 15 years now and can't see using any other body lotions/moisturizers. My skin never gets dry or flaky, even in the coldest winter. Instead, it leaves a nice healthy glow without leaving oil stains on your clothing. It also does not have a strong scent which is good for me because I'm not a big fan of perfume.

perfect for dry skin relief Apr 27, 2010
By R. Katt I've been using a 50:50 mix of Neutrogena sesame oil and baby oil for more than 25 years to remoisturize my otherwise chronically dry skin after showering, swimming, etc. The sesame oil is hydrophilic and therefore absorbed well by wet skin. The baby oil (light mineral oil)is hydrophobic so it stays on the skin surface as a light protective coating and lubricant. An inexpensive year-round basic skin care formula for body, hands, feet, and face. Apply while your skin is still wet for best results.

Not Moisturizing Enough to Soothe Dry Skin Dec 28, 2011
By glowstar I have very dry skin and tried this after all the great reviews. I am sad to report that this is not as emollient or humectant as my skin needs to find comfort. The oil feels nice and it spreads well. It takes a while for it to absorb even though it is lightweight, but that didn't bother me. I thought an oil would be extremely moisturizing, but my skin didn't feel or look very hydrated at all. In fact, it felt equally as dry (as if I had applied a dry oil) with a bit of a sheen. With a cream or lotion, the skin smoothes and plumps up with moisture. I tried this bc I was looking for something like that but even more effective, but this doesn't work. I may try this under a thicker lotion or cream to see if it adds anything as un under-layer. On it's own, it is not effective.
UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have found that using it in the shower helps it absorb into the skin without leaving a dry oil residue behind. However, even when I tried it with the matching lotion on top, it still did not fully hydrate my dry skin. I'll try it again in the summer.
