It does work!!! Aug 30, 2011
By Malinda Christensen I'm an adult who's bipolar and ADHD. I've been medicated my whole life and has tried other herbal subs to no aval. I tried this on a whim, and IT WORKED! I'm keeping caught up and staying focused on my job. I feel like I don't have to force myself to eat, I can actually sleep at night and I don't feel like a zombie like I do on adderall or any of the other meds I've been on! I take two(2) capsules before bed and two when I get up. I had some migraines for about the first two weeks of taking it, but after that I'm fine! Would, and have, recommened this to everyone I know!

doesn't work Sep 25, 2010
By Beth I purchased this product after reading about ADD and ADHD which I believe my son has. His teacher said he was more restless than usual when I put him on this product. Maybe he just reacted badly, but it didn't work for us.
Answered prayer! Feb 01, 2012
By Julie Galindo I purchased this product for my 8-year-old son who has ADHD (positive diagnosis from psychologist). I had decided I was going to try it for 2 weeks before moving on to a stimulant drug. I started noticing little things on the first day. He wasn't so fidgety and bouncy. Today is day 6 on the Neu Becalm'd and I am getting rave reviews from his teacher. He is staying in his desk, completing his work, and asking for help when he needs it (he used to hide his papers in his desk). There are no "personality changes" like when a child is on stimulants. I have a 13-year-old who is on stimulants...but not for long! Oh, my 8-year-old does complain about the taste of the chewable but is able to tolerate it.

Fine product, use caution Jan 24, 2010
By TXMom My 7 year old has been displaying symptoms of ADHD for about 2 years now, but we are not at the point of wanting to medicate with prescriptions. We have been reading on nutrition and diet solutions and had heard about neu-b-calmed as a more natural alternative to prescriptions. We started giving my son a low dose every day and felt like after some time we noticed a little bit of effect. It can be hard to tell at times though. After many months on it, he started having occasional episodes of having a very hard heartbeat. Not racing, just pounding. After the third time it happened I realize that it had never happened before he had been on this medicine and it worried me so we stopped giving it to him. I really think that this product is best for adults who can monitor how they are feeling since it's not a prescription. It says that it's a safer alternative to prescription meds and it may be, but I think it should be given to children under the supervision of a doctor anyway. I have no idea if it cause the heart pounding in my son but it was enough to make me realize that any mood or behavior altering medicine should be given under the card of a physician.
