Nature's Way Herbal Pack not only smells great but it works well to soothe aching muscles. I have my own and recently bought one for a friend for Christmas. She was so appreciative and was as happy with her product as I am with mine. Definitely a good buy and the price cannot be beat!

PROS:
Smells nice
Heats up in about 2 minutes
Provides a really good, moist heat to affected area
Stays hot a fairly long time
Does not smell "burnt" when microwaved, like my old pack (not a NW pack - which had broken rice bits in it instead of herbs).
CONS:
Fabric feels somewhat thinner than I expected, I am worried about how it will hold up over time, being heated up frequently.
Instructions say to heat up for 1 minute, but I found that was nowhere near long enough - the pack was barely warm. About 2 minutes works great for me.
All-in-all, this pack is very nice. I expected something similar to my old pack which had broken rice bits instead of herbs, but this has a nice strong herb smell, retains heat well, and works well for me on affected area to relieve pain.
I have not used it as a cold pack.

this product is exactly what i was looking for. after doing lots of research on these herbal packs, i decided to go with this one and im very glad i did. gets very cold when left in the fridge. feels wonderful either layed accross my forehead or chest. very relaxing to use

These packs are great! We've had a couple that my wife got at a nursing seminar several years back. My wife suffers from chronic migranes, and these packs really work well for both hot and cold therapy. Our packs have been HEAVILY used and have literaly HUNDREDS of hot/cold cycles on them. The print on the cloth has faded somewhat over the years, and the aroma from the various seeds is pretty much gone, but as hot/cold pads they still work well. I'm finally ordering more to get the aroma therapy aspect back, but even so I'll still use the old ones as well. I've recommended these to friends and they have been just as impressed with theirs as we have been with ours.
