Crave-RX made stop-smoking fits manageable, and TIPS!... Mar 14, 2006

Made cravings/fits manageable. First 4 days was worst (15drops x 4 times+, & "bedtime!"!). Was able to gradually cut down (as needed, after first 4 days). First thing in the morning, was the most !important! (after two weeks, would "usually" last all day)! I recommend you get 2 bottles (1st lasted about 3 weeks, 2nd lasts 2+ months). Taper off after... (4 weeks for me- 15 drops, 10 , then 5, ...). Get off asap, as I feel it didn't help my grumpy mood!
GOOD TIPS!!!- note: I did the "shotgun" approach (I did it "ALL..."!), to "Stop Smoking". IT "ALL" HELPED, & made it easier...!
1. Taper-off!- From Regular, to Light, to .1mg Ultra Light. Finally would take two puffs, and CRUSH it. Dump old butts, as they are TOO tempting!
2. Whenever I'd have a nicotine/hunger/sugar "fit..."- I would get "instant relief" by sucking on a "Werther's Original" hard candy (LOW calories. Taper off!)!
3.I also had some "initial" relief with a Homeopathic Medicine called "Smoking Withdrawal" by NATRA-BIO. Do not exceed recommended dosage (contains some kind of nicotine... You are just trading one kind of nicotine, for another- i.e. nico gum...)! "Taper off" (after first week..., for me). I'd try & avoid this, unless you have extreme fits!?
4. I also bought the inexpensive "Stop smoking in one hour" book & hypnosis CD set, from Amazon. It helped too!- you have to WANT to be hypnotized, or it won't work! i.e. "Positive thinking!"!
5. One other common unwelcome side-effect, when you stop smoking, Is "Weight Gain!"- You MUST! stop "ALL" snacking, especially "AFTER DINNER!!!". For me, "snack withdrawal" was intense/difficult! The good thing is, that intense withdrawal only lasted 4 days. You might want to stop snacking "before!" you quit smoking (both at once..., was the pits...!)! Hard candy!
6. Month two (Going good!, off ALL aids...)- Helped some friends move. Afterwords, they were all having a cigarette & offered me "one" (looked soooo good!). "FOOLISHLY!", I accepted (thought I deserved a treat & could handle "just one"). Now, the cravings... are back, like day three (doing ALL the aids... again!)! DRAT!!! NEXT time- "I'LL PASS!, WHATEVER! the reason!"!
GOOD LUCK, and GOOD HEALTH!
