Makes my hair feels silky smooth but a little heavy Mar 21, 2012
By Mary First impression: Opened it up and it smells very nice right away. The Pump is included but was packaged separately. I removed the cap and installed the pump. Mine has an expiration date of mid 2013, which is approximately 18 months after my purchase date.
The product: It is a yellowish, oily serum with very (VERY!) thick viscosity. Did I mention that it smells very good? After 3 applications over 3 days, my hair feels very nice. I have long, thick black hair so this oil is just perfect. My hair is now straighter, less static and very cooperative when I style it.
The main ingredient is Cyclomethicone and Dimethicone. Argan oil is third on the list.
Pros: -It works -Smells Good -Makes hair shiny and smooth -Makes hair manageable -Less frizzy hair and protects from harsh environment (sun and pollutants)
Cons: -Expensive -Not pure argan oil -The main ingredients are Cyclomethicone and Dimethicone, which are silicone and do not absorb into your hair. -Cyclomethicone and Dimethicone are irritants to eyes, lungs and causes build up. -Heavy for thinner hair and does not absorb well
Conclusion: If your hair is thick like mine, it is a great product and I highly recommend it. If your hair is thinner or (for men), I recommend Pure Argan oil as it absorbs better and is more natural without harsh chemicals. I recommend Josie Maran or Pura D'or Pure & Organic Argan Oil 4 fl. oz.

Eh...It's not exactly fabulous. Apr 03, 2009
By Nicole I am a hair product junkie and this just didn't quite give me a fix. It's basically Frizz-ease with some added Argan oil. I was expected a higher concentration of the Argan oil, but it's 5th on the list of ingredients - a fair amount, but not for what you are paying. (the top 5 ingredients of any item are basically what make the product) If something is going to be called 'Moroccan Oil', you'd expect it to be just that, right?
It's very smoothing (hence the silcones at the top of the list of ingredients). Silicones will build on the hair and will eventually have to be stripped with a detoxing shampoo to remove the build-up. I have virgin naturally curly bi-racial hair with a fine texture (think R&B singer Mya). Silicone build-up on curly hair can be the devil so curlies beware. The smell is not too bad. Kind of musky. Just glad that I purchased through Amazon and got a great deal (50% of the normal price).
All in all, it Will suffice for a quick fix for minor frizz, but definitely not a 'treatment'. For that, I highly recommend Eden Allure. They have 100% pure Argan oil available and it doubles as skin care. (not affiliated-just a lover of natural products) Speaking of which, Moroccal oil has color additives (D&C Yellow 11 and Red 17).

GENIUS!! Jan 07, 2008
By J. Norwood This product is pure magic, if I could I would give it 10 stars! You see, I tend to dye my hair a lot, and after a year or so of abusing my hair, it was as damaged as hair can get without falling apart completely. So I went to my trusted hair stylist, who is a true genius when it comes to hair, and she recommended this treatment. The price tag made me flinch, but then my hairstylist gave me a trial run. She showed me how to apply this after towel-drying my hair, a very small amount concentrating on my most damaged areas, and to apply heat with my hair dryer to help absorb it in. The result was such a huge difference. Unlike most other leave in products, this one doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy (like that citrus stuff, yuck) or anything. After using this after every shower, my hair has transformed from something that was such a pain, I put it in a ponytail everyday to avoid having to deal with it, to the softest hair imaginable, that I want to wear down everyday. Seriously, my friends who have seen what I have done to may hair could not believe how soft it was!! If you are looking for a cure for damaged or otherwise distressed hair, I give this my highest recommendation.

Works great, a little goes a long way Jun 01, 2008
By BSM I got this from my hair salon. My hair is naturally curly but I color it and it gets dry and frizzy. I use a little very very little by just tipping the bottle flat against my palm, rub into one side of towel dried hair and repeat for the other side. Style as usual. I found my hair dries naturally faster and looks shiny and great. He flat ironed my hair at the salon and it worked great that way too. I highly recommend it.
I colored my hair last night and woke up to dull dry hair. I used this as above and I can't get over how healthy and shiny it looks today.

Give that thirsty hair a drink from a true oasis Jun 21, 2008
By LaFille This product came highly reccommended to me by a friend now barely trims her ends since she started using MorocconOil. I have very curly hair that dries out and breaks very easily because I have to wet it every day to make my curls look fresh. I have searched high and low for products that will work with my curly hair - and I have always been disappointed after I spend the money and achieve no results. But ever since MorocconOil has come into my life, my hair has been transformed into shiny healthy hair. I don't ever plan to stop using this product. Just a little bit in damp hair is all I need. My hair is softer, shinier and even my curls are more defined - no residue or greasy feel. Let me also add that this stuff smells GREAT! I really wish I'd known about it earlier. I highly reccommend it since it is truly worth the price.
