Using this product was no fun. I used this product last night. I was awakened about a half hour after falling asleep to the worse itching I have ever experienced in my life. This itching was much worse than the infection itself. There was also some swelling and soreness. I could not fall back asleep and spent most of the night tossing and turning until I thought to take benadryl. The benadryl did relieve the itching and allow me to sleep. After the benadryl wore off this morning, I was having the horrible itching again. I was unable to go to work and had to stay home taking benadryl to relieve any discomfort.

I had the infection while pregnant. The ovule insert is so much more comfortable than the cream type. The cream type comes out and feel very uncomfortable while sleeping. I have to wipe it off to be able to sleep. There was a slight burning sensation too. With the ovule I don't even feel I have it inside. I use it at night too. Works well to stop the symptom but after 2 weeks the symptom comes back due to pregnancy. After I took the acidophilus supplement, I have no yeast infection ever.

The external cream is not nice. Very uncomfortable. It itches and burns more. I tried several time. The first time, I wash it off right away. 2nd time, I try to keep it on for 15mins then I wash it off. It does reduce the itchiness afterward. If I need this product next time, I won't get the external cream. Rinsing with salt water works better for me.

This past week I received my first YI ever, and as if that wasn't bad enough, using this product made it even worse! The ovule itself was fine, it was the external cream that literally gave me a chemical burn. After minimal sleep from the extreme itching and burning from the cream, I woke to having my girly parts literally bleeding!! WTH kind of product is this?!? Now I have an uncleared YI along with chemical burns, and FAR worse itching after using the medication than before. What a nightmare!!

The ovule can fall out! Even if you hold it in with kegels, it can fall out in your bed, on your bathroom floor or into the toilet. Don't risk losing your medicine slipping out of your body. Get the cream-filled tubes instead.

I was scared to use this product because of all the reviews I had read about Monistat. But I decided to take a risk and see if it would work for me, and it did! Its not as bad as other people say. It was easy to use and the cream and wipes worked perfectly! It does cause a little irritation at first but it didnt keep me up at night! It worked for me and IM glad I took the risk of using it!
