I started out using regular brand maxi pads after I delivered (Always, Playtex, etc.) The regular brand pads left me chafed and uncomfortable. I bought these online and have been much happier since they arrived. They are large and super soft, and I have had no irritation with them. I highly recommend these for post delivery recovery-- I only wish someone had told me about them in advance!

These pads are very soft, which was very important to me in the days after my daugher's birth. I only wish they had wings, as they did move when I moved.

You will get large pads at hospitals for the first two days. And this Maxim Maternity Pads will be the choice for the next few days until the second week before you can change to regular pads. This maternity pad is softer and absorbs well, so make me feel comfortable.

I chose to use these during the early postpartum period and they did not work. They are leaking from the sides immediately. Another thing I did not like was the fact that they are not individually wrapped or at least somehow wrapped: just put 10 of them into the paperbox.
One of 30 pcs (3 boxes) I got contained some dirty staff on its steril layer.

I bought these because I have super sensitive skin and obviously can't use tampons after giving birth. These really didn't help in the allergy area I broke out just as bad as I did using regular pads. As for absorbency they were perfect for after birth!
