So Far, So Good Jan 27, 2010

I had different wrist blood pressure monitors. First one purchased about 3 years ago. After 18 months, it failed. Just quit working. Of course, I did the obvious. Checked batteries, changed batteries, nothing helped. I tied contacting someone. Made overseas and couldn't find out anything. So, I bought another one - same brand. (I figured it was a fluke!). And then, about 16 months later, it too, simply quit working. From one day to the next. Again, I tried everything I could think of. So - I went online with Amazon, found this item, ordered it. Arrived in good time. But - NO batteries included. So I was ready to install the ones I've been using for years - Rechargeable. Then I read the directions, where they state "do not use rechargeable batteries". So I called the company. They stated that rechargeable batteries have a different chemical that can damage the monitor. All of a sudden, it hit me. That's what was wrong with the previous ones. So, I bought new alkaline batteries and installed them. I have been using this monitor for about 3 weeks now. It works fine. I also use the second memory for my lady friend, so we can watch both bp's separately. The monitor also averages them out for us. All these features are great. The display is large, easy to read, and I love it. IMHO, I have no complaints and this is a great monitor. Next doctor's appointment, I will take it with and check it against the regular upper arm pressure check that they use. So, as I said in the title, and have mentioned here, I have no complaints whatsoever. And did I mention? The price is great too.

great buy! Nov 24, 2010
By sierra perfect for home use! just make sure to keep new batteries handy because this product may need new batteries after 2 months of constant use to get the most accurate result (of course, follow the procedure written on the manual). i say this one's pretty accurate because it always gives the same Pulse Rate with my pulse oximeter.

GOOD VALUE Apr 11, 2011
By HAMY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION FOR MOST ACCURATE RESULTS.
SIT AND RELAX AS SHOWN ON THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL. TAKE THREE READINGS, MAKE SURE YOU RELAX YOUR ARM FOR 10 SECONDS AFTER EACH READING. THE AVERAGE OF THREE READINGS WILL GIVE YOU HIGH PRECISION ON YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE. I HAVE VERIFIED THIS PRODUCT WITH THE MOST EXPENSIVE BP MONITORS AND THE DIFFERENCES IS APPROX. +/-5.00

Not a good buy. Aug 31, 2010
By mickey dawson annan Package arrived earlier than expected. That was the last good news! The "Mark of Fitness MF-87" did not live up to the hype. From the onset it would not inflate fully. Thought it was my batteries. Replaced with brand new Duracell Ultra. Got a couple of readings. Then it began to display "Error -2" error code (manual said it was a malfunctioned cuff). I hoped desperately that was not the case. Left it alone till next day. Same result. Left it alone for 2 more days. Same results: "Error -2". Finally gave up. Returning it for a refund.
I have ordered the "OMRON HEM 790IT". It's pricier but has great reviews (4.5/5 from over 400 users) and comes with software disc that will help you upload blood pressure data to your computer, print graphs for your doctor, etc.
Contemplated ordering the "OMRON HEM 670IT" but finally settled for the 790IT.

MOF MF-87 Blood Pressure Monitor Nov 30, 2009
By Jerome D. Wiesenberg It is hard to rate the accuracy of a blood pressure monitor. How can you tell which one is correct when you get separate and different readings from each one you check.
However, the MOF seems consistent to me and I am pleased with my purchase
