Great machine for the money Nov 09, 2010
By Jason Hardy I have the Canadian version, the APEX AX-2109. It's a great machine for upper body and leg exercises. I still use my separate ab machine and chinup/pullup bar to round out my strength work out.
This machine is well built, looks sharp and has just enough weight to maintain long term work outs with good set and rep numbers. It took me 4-5 hours to completely put together as well. The parts were well labelled, just alot of them to do.
Thumbs up.

Good For Average Person Apr 10, 2011
By Crabby1 I'm an above-average woman - 5'11" & 230 lbs. The machine is a mite too short/small for full extension esp. in arms; leg extension/curl rollers feel 'tight', perhaps I need to get used to the machine, pads may wear down a bit & feel more comfortable. I haven't worked out on a machine for quite awhile - use lighter free weights, but the machine just feels a bit small/short with cable & bar lengths.
Go to a store and try out a Marcy machine - or others to feel the fit/weight. If you know what you like, Marcy is a great buy - assembly easy to moderate with diagram instructions, parts labeled & numbered, quality welding/construction, bearings/pulleys operate smoothly. Good machine if you're sure what fits you/what you want (my bad not checking size).
