Great stuff! Jan 09, 2007
By Raj I love these figs. The natural flavor is well preserved and there's no added sugar which makes it a great healthy snack when those between-meals hunger pangs hit you. I've quickly run through my 6 pack.

Great figs, not all fresh though Mar 29, 2009
By Debra Zulaski These figs taste great! It's almost like eating candy. I was told about these figs from my friend. Figs are very good for you, they help keep your insides clean, good source of fiber. At the health food store they cost over $4.00 a bag. Amazon had a great price. You should keep them in the frig to keep them fresh. The only disappointment I have with my order from Amazon is they are not as fresh as the bag I bought from the store. Even though there is a good expiration date on the bags, a couple of figs in each bag were dried out, still edible but not as good. Maybe just got a bad batch, if I order more maybe I can update this and report how those are. Try the Calimyrna figs from this company too, they're just as yummy!

Another high quality product from Made in Nature! Feb 02, 2010
By Melissa W. The black mission figs are awesome!! Fantastic value with 6 packs for $18, especially considering these are organic and unsulfured. I recently ordered the Calimyrna variety from Made in Nature, as well, and it just confirms to me that I can probably trust them on the dried apricots now, too.

Now my favorite breakfast and snack Jan 11, 2010
By Cineander I am truly astonished by any review giving these figs less than five stars. Not only are they organic, they are sun dried, which is very hard to find. Every bag I opened contained sweet, plump, delicious figs. I'm just now reading that figs are powerful antioxidants, and so I'm even more delighted. I've never taken to dried fruit in a big way. These figs changed that.

Great low calorie snack Sep 19, 2007
By M. Hauser These black mission figs are a wonderful low calorie organic, no sugar added snack. Not only are they satisfyingly sweet in themselves but they contain a huge amount of fiber in a small easy to use and pleasant form. I don't find them too hard or dry myself, quite the contrary. But if you do there are easy ways around that. If you prepare coffee by drip method just place a few on top of the ground coffee before or while pouring the water. By the time the coffee is ready your moist soft figs will be too. Just rinse off any clinging coffee grounds before eating. Tea drinker? Add the figs to the cup with the teabag and let them sit while the tea brews. Otherwise just pour boiled (not boiling) water over them and let them sit for 3 to 5 minutes maximum. No need to boil or stew these beauties. These are one of the best dried fruits available for the money.
