Perhaps the very best domestic brown rice Mar 01, 2012

This rice is delightfully nutty; very, very flavorful and has a lovely buttery texture. I fell in love with Lundberg's short grain brown rice a couple of years ago when I tried it at a friend's. I really hope that Lundberg will never -ever- stop growing this wonderful rice.

This 25 lb bag is a good value. The rice will keep for a very long time in ziploc bags in the freezer or vacuum packed (FoodSavers are great for this).

TIP: For the plumpest texture, soak the rice in room temperature water for at least three hours before cooking (if you happen to have a pressure cooker, cook for 12 minutes - rice to water ratio: 2 to 1).

I rarely review items but I cannot NOT review this one ... I've never found a better product for so many ailments. It has helped in so many ways but none so much as mentally. My husband and I have found a profound difference in our mental acuity and well being. We've stopped taking Aleve. Our joints feel so much better and our ability to move around has improved. We tell everyone we know that they have to at least give it a try. There are sooo many benefits and I cannot think of them all right now. Please give this a chance - you may be extremely pleased as we are.

I take Hemp seed capsules to help lower my cholesterol. My cholesterol level has dropped from 200 to 156 within the last 6 months. I think is a great product, convenient and effective.

Taking a tablespoon of the oil is horrid to me, and my dermatologist recommended hemp oil supplements, so this was a great solution. (She also recommended Polypodium leucotomos, which I purchase on Amazon as Fernblock.) The hemp pills are large, if you have trouble swallowing large pills use caution.
