I am very satisfied with the quality of this lumbar pillow. It looks and feels very well made. I was a bit concerned the pump action would be gimmicky and not work well, but I am very pleased with how it works. You feel a clear expansion of the pillow with each pump of the bulb. The packaging doesn't include any real instructions, but I'd say 7-10 pumps would be the absolute max (I didn't want to risk maxing mine out - I'd think up to 5 pumps would be what most people would use). This is nice that you just need to pump it a few times to get the expansion you need - before receiving it I pictured myself having to furiously pump the bulb. Also, even fully deflated, the foam inside provides some support that might be all some people need.

The only things different than the picture is that the cushion I received is black. Also there is an adjustable strap on it to fasten it to your chair-back, which is not pictured, but I assumed it would have.

The company selling this item - Colonial Medical Assisted Devices - shipped the pillow super fast. I received it within 2-3 days of placing the order.

The car I drive has about zero lumbar support in the seats so I am hoping this cushion will work under an aftermarket seat cover. I haven't started trying it out yet, but I previously bought a larger memory foam cushion, but it was way too big pushing me forward too much. I am hopeful this one will work out with its smaller size. I would surmise that your end-result level of success with this cushion will depend on your individual need and usage of it. I would reiterate that it is a very well-made product for the money and is sold by a good company.
