Does the job I guess May 17, 2007

I just recently purchased a treadmill for the first time, and it was recommended to me that I wax it every 3 months, not the every 6 months indicated in the manual since I run on it alot.
I ordered this wax kit and it received it pretty quickly without any complaints.
The instructions were pretty simple to follow, and the actual application of the wax on the "wand" and then on the treadmill, in thoery, were fairly simple as well.
I only gave the product 3 stars for the following reasons:
1. the lube is quite runny and it did drip on things as I maneuvered it onder the treadmill belt.
2. the applicator wand is NOT designed for wide treadmill decks (I believe mine is 22" wide) so it was VERY hard to move the stick up and down the deck because my belt was just slightly wider than the stick. Now only was it difficult to move, the edge of the belt tore my fingers up in the process.
In the end, the lube does do it's job, it's just not super easy getting it there if you've got a wide deck.

My original maintenance kit was too short to cover the full width of the rubber tread. By accident, I ordered the longer & correct one. Lubing is still a messy exercise but I only need to do this every 2-3 months with 20 minute sessions, 4-5 days per week (a rather light regimen). We've had our treadmill some 7 years, with original tread still. It works well and may outlast me!

Bought this product and it does what it says. I use this product for maintence on my treadmill. Was very easy to use and has directions as well. No mess! I would recommend this product for anyone looking to maintence their treadmill and not looking for something that is messy in the process! Plus very fast shipping seems like I ordered it and got it the next day!! :)

I almost gave this product a 2 star rating for the LACK OF INFORMATION IN THE PACKAGE~! The lube in this package (and every lube in these packages sold by this company) is a vegetable based lube and is NOT SILICONE OR WAX. (So I'm wondering if its just Canola oil). Anyway, why they would fail to include this info in the package is astounding. So I ended up calling the company and kudos to them for having a live person answer the phone! She explained their lube (veggie based) would serve the requirements for treadmills that call for either wax or silicone. I have no clue if she knew what she was talking about, but she was confident. They would do their reputation wonders if they would add some text explaining the subject.
Anyway, I used this on my Precor M9.25 (not the "i" version). It smoothed the action of the treadmill and seems to run smoother than what it did before the application. I'm irritated that I had spent so much time searching for "WAX" lube and kept running into this product when they product IS NOT WAX BASED LUBE and the packaging says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it being neither silicone or paraffin (i.e. wax) based lube. Oh well.

Lube-N-Walk does what it says it will; lubricate your treadmill. I use it on my treadclimber per the recommendation in the manual. It's fairly easy to use, but just a touch sloppy.
