Excellent quality for the money Apr 22, 2010
By Peter A. Myers I picked this thing up for about 15 dollars. I was a little skeptical at first of the handle since you have to get the band in there and its held in by the ball inside the end of the band itself. But after SEVERAL weeks of use, I can say that I am 100% fully satisfied with this. The handle mechanism, which I was originally skeptical about, holds sturdy and I use without any fear of it coming loose. In case it isn't specified on the amazon page (I'm unsure and too lazy to go check) the resistances go up by increments of 10 pounds. These are the "levels", level 10 is 100 lbs., level 9 is 90 lbs, etc., down through level 1, 10 lbs. I bought the 80 lbs. It came with a small attachment which fits through the closed seem of a door to enable you to do seated band-rows and such. Also, I was skeptical of this at first as well since it looked rather flimsy or like it would slip through my door frame. I was wrong here also. After several weeks of use this continues to work flawlessly.
Overall I give this product 5 stars because it was definitely worth my money, is very sturdy, and is standing the test of time. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality resistance band for a decent price. :)

This aint no wally world special rubber band. Its got some serious resistance and its really well made. I love these bands and basically anything made by lifeline they have the best training equipment. The wider you place your feet the more resistance. Great band. Builds explosive powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So far, so good Oct 12, 2011
By Chico Marx I got into the P90X, and I like working with the cables on some of the exercises. Of course I got the cables from in the P90X package. They're fine, but I like these fitness cables better. Why? Because in some of the moves/exercises, I found myself not like the handles that are straps. I prefer these stiff handles. The only thing I was bummed about was that the 60lb wasn't enough for me. I can still work with it, but I'm going to get a 100lb band in my next purchase.
Perfect for home use with p90x. May 20, 2012
By UH I got the 100lb (R-10) resistance cable for doing pull downs during p90x workouts. The cable comes with a door attachment which goes on the hinge side of the door and its very secure. It wouldn't budge with my entire body weight on it and I am a big guy (220lbs) so 100 lbs resistance cable will be secure, no problem. The cable itself is pretty indestructible and looks and feels to be extremely heavy duty. Also this product comes with a dvd which has excellent instructions for a whole host of workouts and exercises on it. I would definitely recommend this to people who don't have access to a pull up bar or are trying to get back into shape.
Quality and Durability Apr 25, 2012
By Alex Shurin I have used a number of resistance bands in the past few years and none of them come close to this product in terms of toughness and quality. I purchased Blue, heavy resistance cables and use them for explosive power development/plyometrics. You can buy bands/cables independently as they are interchangeable with the same handles. Very well thought out, durable product, I anticipate purchasing more resistance bands from Lifeline and using them for years to come.
