Over-powered by the scent of lavender Apr 27, 2010

When I got the lavender-scented horseshoe pad out of the box...whoo! The scent of lavender filled the air.
At first, this wasn't too bad for me. Then, I microwaved it so that I could try it out on my aching neck.
Double whoo! Upon having this pad with the lavender so close to my neck, along with it heated, I started
getting a headache and dizzy from the scent.

Well, the heat and style of the pad worked for me, but the scent didn't. I even tried washing it in my washing machine
to lessen the scent. Still this scent was too much and I even like the scent of flowers. That is why I bought this
scented.

If I had to buy this over again, I would choose the unscented. So, those of you who want to buy this and
are unsure, to be on the safe side, choose the unscented.

This horseshoe pad is now being used to offset the smell of cleaning rags in my laundry room. If it wasn't
for the over-powering scent, I would have rated this a five.

When this product arrived, i was disapointed to see that its a completely different pattern from the one pictured (mine has blue and white stars and resembles a mural in a preschool). So it looks silly, but it works great! i love the fragrance and the heat really lasts a long time. If you're not too worried about appearances, definitely order this item!

We love the lavender microwavable rice horseshoe pad at our house. It's great for sore arthritic shoulders and overworked muscles. It gets used by everyone in the family. The only problem is finding it when we need it. Love the smell and the homeopathic pain relief.

I love this microwavable pad. The heat gives instant relief to my aching neck and shoulders. I often take it to bed while it is warm - helps me get to sleep faster when my neck is hurting. It's a plus that it also smells of lavender.

This is a lovely way to destress the neck & shoulders. It also can help relax the jaw muscles. I would recommend this to others.
