Worked for me! Dec 18, 2009
By B. Valentine
"I am out to prove I have nothing to prove!"
I was training for the Baja 1000 race and while jogging 4 weeks before the race I injured my left knee (torn meniscus) and needed arthroscopic surgery to repair it. I was in a panic as I had only 4 weeks for recovery as I had been planning the race for a year. My Dr. gave me a 50/50 chance of being ready after the surgery given I was 50 years old and recovery for old folks like me can be longer.
Recovery for the first two days is ice and elevation which I used the Freezie Wrap: Knee Freezie Wrap. After the first two days I did the standard physical therapy stuff but before I did the workout I would ultrasound my knee with this product: Portable Ultrasound with multiple settings + 8 oz Bottle of Naturally Medicated Lavender Infusion Ultrasound Gel, then I would use the Inferno Wrap to warm up my knee, do my therapy and then ice it with the Freezie Wrap. I was hardcore on the physical therapy three times a day using a stationary bike, doing leg lifts, stretching, etc. I never missed a session and never skipped the heat, ultrasound and cold sessions.
I am happy to say that in 4 weeks the knee was back to 90+% and I was able to drive for 7 hours non-stop in the race (my section was 212 miles) through the dessert using the left leg to clutch and brake. No pain in the knee, etc. Needless to say I was very happy. 4 weeks after the race the knee is now back to normal, just some slight stiffness if I sit too long, but that will go away soon.
I am not sure how much credit to give to these products in that recovery... but hey... I was able to do the race, so credit is due where credit is due.
The only downside is the price of this product. $199 (at least it was that when I bought it) is quite a high price to pay for a glorified heating pad. The 3 heat setting worked fine. The Velcro straps held the wrap in place. The power cord it plenty long enough. I was desperate so I paid the price.
My routine worked for me, not sure if it will work for you. If you have an injury I wish you all the best in getting back to normal as quickly as possible.
I will also do product reviews for the Freezie Wrap and the Ultrasound device on those product pages.

Added to Ice Therapy - this is great! Aug 15, 2011
By GommiAnn I bought this product to add to a compilation of products used to repair a knee injury. I used ice, heat and then ultrasound. It REALLY helped speed up my healing and I've been very pleased with the product. Explanations on how to use it are helpful and it's very easy!

BUYER BEWARE! Jan 14, 2011
By Nathan I'm posting this review mainly to help others from getting scammed by the Inferno Crap. I have bad knees from injuries and surgery & wanted to speed up the healing process.
I got ripped off (due to desperation) and bought this outrageously high priced heating pad from the makers at close to $200. This simple heating pad doesn't even provide heat all around the knee. It just hits 2 small spots which need manual adjustment. Walmart and most drug store chains sell much better REAL heating pads for less than $20. With an ace bandage you can carefully wrap it around the heating pad and get much better treatment than with the cheap inferno crap! I just can't believe so many people are so gullible like I was and also write such great reviews about a product that's selling for at least 4 times what it's worth. I'm convinced that most of the reviews are biased and written by the company or its employees. As the old saying goes "BUYER BEWARE".
Almost 6 months have passed and my knees are at least 90% better but not due to the inferno crap. I spent $110 and bought a good TENS/EMS unit and used it 3 times a week for a half hour each time after doing therapeutic exercises. Before working out I used a small rolling pin (similar to a "stick" - another ripoff overpriced item) and massaged my legs for a few minutes before working out. When I finished I immediately used ice packs for 5-6 minutes which I held in place with ace bandages. About an hour after working out I would use the TENS/EMS unit. The important thing is to start very slowly with 3-4 exercises (1 set) and very gradually increase plus add more exercises.
Presently I do 2 sets of 10 reps of 7 exercises plus 7 minutes on the bike and 7 minutes on the treadmill. This is about half of what I used to do before my injuries but my physical therapist warned me to slowly increase things only once a week for the next few months. Some occasional pain is normal as you are healing. By the way some heat BEFORE you work out for 5-10 minutes is OK but not with a $200 cheap heating pad called "Inferno Crap".
Another therapy that's supposed to work even better than a TENS unit is called a MICROCURRENT therapy device. You can all research it yourselves if interested.
What I have written here is the 100% complete truth!!!

Incredible!!! Jan 30, 2012
By Rossiphilly My husband was told by three different doctors that he needed would need knee replacement within a year. He was in constant pain. I found the Mendmeshop Knee Inferno Wrap by searching the web for alternatives to surgery. He was sure this would not work but, desperate to avoid surgery, agreed to use it twice a day for a month. Within a week, we could not believe the difference. He is able to do activities without pain. He now uses it a couple times a week or whenever he does too much (such as dancing The Twist) to keep the blood flow strong. Give it a try!!
Effective and really works May 16, 2012
By Shopper Bought this and figured that it would simply be a specially cut warming pad. Very pleasantly surprised to find out that it isn't. It uses electrical stimulation and creates a nice warmth. Like the adjustable settings and the comfortable wrap.
