Kirkland No Salt Seasoning Jan 12, 2010
By Kristy Richardson
"ChefKristy"
my dad is on a no salt diet and I've used the Kirkland No Salt Seasoning to season his meats, vegetables, eggs, potatoes, everything! and he loves it. He likes the flavor of the food even though he's a die hard salt fan. I used it along with fresh garlic to make his favorite oxtails, broccoli, and used the broth from the oxtails (remove fat) to season his rice. He loved it and so did the salt eaters! Great product. Blessings

A cooks dream if you want to reduce sodium. Jul 26, 2011
By Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01 This is a great seasoning. My dad taught me how to cook and our favorite basic spice combination for meat, fish and poultry is salt pepper and paprika. Decided to eliminate salt from my diet and tried a some supermarket brands that were not great. Kept looking and saw a spot for this at Costco but it is always empty.
Instead of waiting I got it here on Amazon and have been using it for a few days. This is great. The closest to salt(I can't taste the difference) but the mix of flavors actually work better with meat, poultry and fish.
My only concern was using it in soups but I ground it up and it was perfect in my favorite summer soup (corn chowder with crab/shrimp). I love it.
Ingredients(from the back of the bottle):
Organic onion, organic garlic, organic carrot, organic black pepper, organic red bell pepper, organic tomato granules, organic orange peel, organic parsley organic bay leaves, organic thyme, organic basil, organic celery, organic lemon peel, organic oregano, organic savory, organic mustard seed, organic cumin, Organic marjoram, organic coriander, organic cayenne pepper, citric acid and organic rosemary.
I love this and it is a great salt replacement.

I don't know what is in it, but I like it Jul 24, 2010
By A. Thompson The ingredients are not included in the packaging, so I have no idea what I have been putting in my soups, fish, and vegetables for the past 2 months. The flavors are not real strong. There isn't a strong pepper flavor, which I prefer, so I usually add ground pepper too. But this mix does give some flavor and, best of all, without salt.

Scrumptious - pleasantly surprised. Oct 03, 2010
By Sylvia Bevan I tried this on a whim, it was the organic label + no salt that caught my eye. Delish in meatballs or braised lamb chops - then finish off in the oven; or as a rub or sprinkled on anything cooked - especially roasted vegetables, such as a mix of potatoes, beets and carrots and lots of onion. Or Potatoes, Butternut Squash and Carrots and lots of onion(add a little fast fry teryaki beef strips to the pot once finished cooking, and you have yourself a tasty meal). Robust flavor.
