As an acupuncturist I go through many infrared heat lamps.
Some lamps tend to break down easily, so I am always looking for reliable products.
I found this seller from another website, and I am very satisfied with the quality of both the product and the customer service. The lamp is of very good quality at a low price.
What I like the best about this lamp is the reliable, worry-free neck.
I do not like having to deal with nuts and bolts, and with this lamp with the goose neck I do not have to worry about them. It is so easy to use.
The heat intensity control function is also very neat thing to have.

I broke my neck about 10 years ago and my neck gets sore and stiff sometimes. I also have sports related rotator cuff issues so I purchased this lamp to help me with these physical problems. I liked the adjustable neck and height the add speaks of and having used it let me say that this lamp does exactly what it says it does. It arrived here within a week, assembled very easily and is highly mobile and functional. My neck felt better on first use.
I would recommend this product.
As for the strange title, I don't like buying products from China for political reasons and I wish the U.S. would start manufacturing again but, having said that, I have to be fair, this is a great product so far!

Keeps getting better! May 18, 2010

I purchase the old model (IR-7000 I believe) and I have to say it was a pretty good product.
It's been over a year and it's still staying strong. Even the bulb still work!
I bought this newer model (IR-300and so far I'm very impressed!
The neck bends very well to where I can position the beam in any angle. That is a very well characteristic you would like to have when treating a patient.
I also like the controller that can allow the patient to change the temperature setting at their desire. That is one thing I didn't find on other IR Lamps from other sellers here on Amazon.
In all, this Korean made IR lamp managed to win me over from those other china made IR lamps. The unique features, good quality heating, and reliability is what i was looking for...and that is what I found from this IR-300.

My Asian accupunturist uses a similar one on both my mild arthritic knees along with the needles and shock treatment. Between visits I decided to do the heat regidimen at home. For the last week I've zapped my knees, toes and neck where I have mild pain. Wholly red light relief Batman!!! It worked. One episode of Simpsons and one of Seinfeld and I'm toast. I mean done. This lamp seems well made. The goose neck adjusts well to meet certain areas of my treatment. The sixty min. timer alerts me when the meat is done. My Mother In Law tried it Sunday for her groin pain and noticed the benefits even through her pants. Getting her an early X-mas gift and buying one for her. Brownie points. If the pain is minimized or eliminated with this lamp, you can not put a price on that. Pain suxs.

I recently purchased this product for my father who was having a very hard time getting around because of his arthritis. He had tried many natural supplements, which helped, but none of them took away the pain. After using the infrared light therapy for one week he is almost completely pain free; there was a noticeable improvement with only one treatment. The light arrived earlier than expected and it was extremely easy to put together. The quality is excellent and I am going to buy one for myself.
