Good product Oct 13, 2008

Instructions for freezing were not very clear. I wasn't sure if the inside container and gel pack needed to be frozen as well. I understood that the inner compartment is put in the freezer that holds the water for ice, but the middle section was unclear. So I froze it too and it worked better to keep the ice frozen longer. Overall a good product for icing injuries during/after a game.
Not Durable May 02, 2012
By Jonathan This works as advertised, but mine broke after a year or so (and manufacturer only offers a 6 month warranty).
Other negative is that it's kind of a small diameter (so you don't get much ice surface to the body), and the system of "pushing out" the ice from the bottom doesn't really work that great (and lead to the breakage).
I recommend the "cryocup" as more durable and easier to use, and just sticking it in a small thermos or cooler...
A great alternative to an ice pack--I love it! Jun 02, 2011
By laura Great tool. I use it on my knee and wrists (carpal tunnel). It helps bring down inflammation so I can exercise. Try it, you'll like it!
Great Idea; works pretty well; mine broke Apr 07, 2011
By Craig Lincoln The product works as described, and is a great idea, but I just negotiated a "one-time, special consideration" return of this device with Amazon. After a few weeks of normal use, the cylinder cracked while re-freezing. The plastic wall split open from the pressure of the ice expansion, and it is now useless. (I did follow the instructions for freezing.) I tried to Superglue the crack to no avail. I like the product, it is convenient and has kept ice for several hours, and I was using daily before and after workouts. Other than the crack, which may be an anomaly, I am happy with it, and will order another one, through Amazon. Seeing this product online at prices ranging from $15.95 - 34.95, though, gives me pause. It does not appear to be made to last, and even 15 bucks seems a little pricey for the quality -- you are really paying for the convenience, which is significant. In use, it can be very difficult to get the initial icing started because of friction between ice and container sides -- they recommend banging the push-up piece against something. I will not do this with my new one knowing that it is subject to cracking. I suggest warming the container between the hands or running under warm water if the first use is soon after removal from freezer.
Perfect Ice Massage that will stay with you all day. Nov 17, 2010

An Ice cup massage is far more effective and efficient at concentrating cold on specific tendons and at the same time working calcium out of those tendons. The reason most people don't perform these procedures is because a damaged tendon requires about three of these a day and the convenience factor comes into play. This makes it convenient so if you are at work or wherever you can treat your affected joint on you lunch break.
