Gets My Support! Jan 11, 2011
By sprinter56 Looking for a good support for your knee? Well, this would be a good choice. I'm not totally sold on the whole magnet therapy-healing thing, but there's a lot of good reasons to try this wrap. A few things to know though...
-it has an insert that fits into the knee support- it provides heat/cold primarily above and below the knee cap when tightened
-to cool it, you stick the insert into a freezer for at least 2 hours
-two ways to heat it- in a microwave OR with boiling water. Know that with either method, you're heating the water up first, and then sticking in the insert to get it hot
-its totally washable, the recommended way being by hand
Is it hard to put on? Not at all. And you can easily make it as snug as you want- it uses velcro and stays put firmly.
A nice little knee support, I give it two thumbs up.

Okay but not great. Does not stay cold long. Oct 20, 2009

This was reasonably priced and from a name I knew but I was not impressed with the amount of cold it delivered. It only delivers heat or cold directly over the patella (knee cap) so if you need cold applied to the sides of the joint, this will not work for you. I found I had to remove the wrap after just a few minutes and flip the gel pack over as it was getting warm. Finally, I just held the cold pack to my knee as that was easier than removing the wrap from my leg, removing the gel pack from the wrap and reversing it and re-applying the wrap. The gel pack does not have sufficient mass to deliver cold for very long. I didn't try it with heat but the instructions specifically tell you not to microwave the gel pack directly. You must microwave it in a bowl of water or boil water, take it off the heat and then put the gel pack in it. This seems inconvenient.

Comfortable, well-made, and priced fairly Aug 05, 2008
By J. Trice I bought this after I developed runner's knee to help with swelling after my runs. I can't speak to the magnet issue, but the cold-pack fits perfectly in its little pouch and does its job well. Also, this wrap is incredibly comfortable, with no exposed seams or stitches. Finally, the wrap is very well made; I can see it lasting for years.
If you are looking for great way to cool your knee down, this is it.

It works Aug 18, 2011

My wife wears it alot. She has one for each knee. Don't get pulled into the "Does magnetic therapy work or not" debate, just be aware that they work for us. I think it has to do with the magnet interacting with the iron in blood. I had a magnetic bracelet that healed my wrist which hurt all the time. It wore out and the company that sold it is gone now. Bummer, but we will always buy magnet health products.

Will buy again Mar 21, 2011
By Susan Warner This is my second purchase of this knee support. It lasted a long time but I wear it every night and I wore it out! The cold/hot pack is still fine. I've use it for cold only and it's great. I will buy this product again!!!
