Love the extra cushion! Apr 04, 2008

This is a great sticky mat. I had first purchased a thinner mat and found that my knees would get sore because there just wasn't as much cushion as I would like. I didn't want to use a blanket or towel, as I was concerned about slipping out of a pose. This was an excellent solution! The color is great too. I stack the mats as well or roll up the end for certain poses and they seem to stay pretty fairly where I place them.

good purchase Dec 12, 2008
By C. Dietrich I have had this mat about 2 mos now. I use it for yoga. At first there seemed to be a film on it that made it slippery. My instructor suggested I wash it in vinegar water. I did and it is great now. It is a nice thickness for those bony parts. The carrying bag works well. The green is a nice earthy color.

Good deal for the price Mar 16, 2009
By P. Cardozo It is a good deal because you get the mat and the carry bag for what you will have to pay for the just the mat. If you want a nice and practical bag (one that will not require any time and effort to get the mat in) I will recommend buying the mat and the bag separately...be aware that you would have to pay around 15 dollars for the bag. If you are just looking for a simple bag and for a good price this is the perfect package.

Hard to get the mat in the bag Nov 01, 2008
By N. Bozorgnia

This is a good mat, but has 2 problems:
1. It is not so easy to get the mat in the bag because sometimes the mat sticks to the bag and it would take a while to get it into the bag.
2. Sometimes the mat becomes slippery and when I am doing yoga, my hands slip after a while on the mat.
Other than these 2 problems, it is a functional and nice looking mat.

Don't Buy Jun 05, 2011

OK, 1 star sounds harsh. It's as though I am saying that there's almost nothing good about this yoga mat... well, let me be more precise. What I want to communicate is: this yoga mat will not last and thus rendering its value very low. I do power yoga. The mat served its basic purpose fine for a few sessions. Then I begin to notice where my feet and hands constantly touch the mat, they started to crumble. Like, little pieces of the mat started to flay off from repeated use. I've had the mat now for a little over a week. I use it once a day. That's some 7 or 8 uses. If you saw my mat, you could easily tell where I do my downward dog -- because you would see the mat crumbling at specific spots and it is showing significant wear. So for this to happen so readily after so short of a time, in my opinion, it's not worth it. If you must try it, get it on sale. Really, if I am noticing this much wear and tear after 1 week... I'd say pass.
