Lumex bath commode with arms Jul 12, 2008
By Debra Small I've been a caregiver for my mother with MS for 6 years. She's faced with diminishing capability to stand and transfer. I've purchased three other commodes including the costly 'lift' commode and the Lumex commode just arrived today. I absolutely LOVE this commode. It's the lightest commode I've ever seen (even lighter than mom's standard walker). The padded seat and back support is not found on any other commode I can find. The open area in the front AND the back are very helpful for adjusting incontinence pads and underwear. And this goes into the shower! You can't believe the bang for your buck. I'm more than happy to recommend this product. Shop around, you can find it for around $100 + shipping.

Great for users with tailbone injuries. Jun 04, 2008
By Keith Jones My 77 year old mom fell on her tail bone. She was extremely picky about what she sat on. She also couldn't walk. Thanks to this shower seat I could sit her in the shower and wash her. This boosted her self esteem alot. If I had to leave to work for 4 hours I would put the commode pail underneath this shower seat. Then I'd leave the seat by her bed where she could reach it without walking. She never used the commode option but it gave me serious peace of mind since she could never have made it to the bathroom on her own.
Great! Oct 03, 2011
By Michael J. Harb Since I broke my shin, bathing has been very difficult. This shower chair/commode has been a life saver. It is very stable and sturdy. With my multiple sclerosis, I most certainly will be using this for a very long time. I am very glad that I found it.

Worst ever product Oct 04, 2011
By Janet Konstantinow The seat does not raise, the bowl is very hard to empty, and if you pick it up the arms come off. Don't waste your money on this product. Note: They would not let me return it although it was never used, and now I have to try to get rid of it somehow.
