Excellent addition to the "Stretch-Tite" family Feb 19, 2007
By K. Bishop

I recently purchased Freeze-Tite thinking it was the white freezer paper. To my surprise it was clear plastic wrap! (Had I paid attention I'd have clearly seen that it does say PLASTIC in the decription!) Freeze-Tite is longer and thicker than it's Stretch-Tite brother. I find that I reach for it even when I have to cover a large casserole dish. Why use 2 pieces of Stretch-Tite when 1 piece of Freeze-Tite will do?
I purchase my meats fresh from the butcher. I have used the Freeze-Tite to wrap my purchases to place in the freezer. So far I have not noticed any freezer burn.
If you are a Stretch-Tite fan, you are going to LOVE FREEZE-TITE even more!

Good stuff Jun 05, 2007
By Beth However, it is 250 square feet per roll, not 500. It is not terribly stretchy so it is not as good for non-freezer applications.

BEST plastic wrap I've ever used! May 04, 2009

I ordered this wrap because its sister product, Stretch Tite, was out of stock.... and I'm glad I did! This stuff is great! Thicker than most plastic wraps, it doesn't fold all over itself... it's very easy to rip off a sheet, cover something (I just covered a half a watermelon, which is what inspired me to write this review), and presto, it's protected...and it has very good cling properties so it stays where you put it.
I was concerned that the box wouldn't fit in my kitchen drawer, but it fits perfectly.
Try this wrap - I think you'll like it!

Freeze-tite is Just Right! Mar 27, 2011
By Brenda Frank

I use plastic wrap for rolling out dough - pie crust, cookie dough, pastry, bread dough. The dough doesn't stick to the plastic and my dough isn't overworked.
I always bought stretch-tite, but I used to have to put 2 sheets of the regular size together or move the regular wrap as I rolled the dough. Stretch-tite is great plastic wrap, just too narrow.
Now that I found freeze-tite, my bread and pastry work is much easier and more efficient. Also, the thicker wrap doesn't get holes in it as stretch-tite did.
I also use plastic wrap to cover my flats of newly planted seeds. This creates a mini greenhouse which encourages quick germination and avoids the need to add moisture. The thicker, wider freeze-tite does a far better job of covering the flats than stretch-tite or any other plastic wrap.
Stock up. It's great to buy 4 packs of freeze-tite at a nice price. Everything, except me, is better in bulk!

The Very Best Wrap you can find Feb 19, 2009
By R. WRIDGE

I have used this Freezer Wrap for over 10 years. It is the very best product I have ever found for preserving the quality of the food I use it on in my freezer. There has never been freezer burn, or flavor lost with Freeze-tite wrap in our home. I really appreciate the great buy I got through Amazon.
