5Wow! This foot spa is great!  May 10, 2006
By A. S. Hood
I have had a job for the last nineteen years that requires me to stand on my feet for the majority of my workday. Recently, I noticed that at the end of my shift my feet HURT more than usual. They began to throb. Two weeks ago I decided to purchase a whirlpool foot spa similar to the one at the salon where I get my pedicures. I wanted to pamper and rejuvenate my arhing feet at home at my own convenience without the added cost of going to the nail shop. My criterion: (1)water level deep enough to immerse my ankles, (2)powerful water jets, and (3)a heating element that would enable the water to stay heated for periods up to two hours. The Aqua-Jet Foot Spa has met all my requirements. In addition, the handles make it very easy to move and lift the spa when full. This unit is a bit more expensive than the other foot spas on the market, however, well worth the money!

5Satisfied  Apr 24, 2006
By Koffee in MD
My wife wanted a foot spa and I began my search via the web and noticed that most people weren't pleased with their foot spas they complained of loud noises, jets (i.e. bubbles) were not powerful, or just plain cheap.I decided to give Sharper Image or Brookstone a try. Sharper Image claimed that their spa kept the water warm but were out of stock (a good sign) but I wanted one immediately and gave Brookstone a try. My wife loved it! She frequents the nail salons for pedicures and stated that this machine was just like the ones at the salon in regards to features and comfort. She was VERY thankful. I have also experienced the jets and the water temperature and it works as advertised. You won't be dissatisfied. There are cheaper ones but IMHO this is worth the money. Enjoy.

3What, no soap?  Mar 30, 2007
By Sam Ash "Sam"
I received this product yesterday, and tried it out immediately. It has a much more powerful action than the Homedics spa it replaced, and the heater is very good at quickly returning the water to the desired temperature. The foot rollers are pretty useless, as stated by a previous reviewer. I was disappointed to learn that I cannot put in any salts or soaks--even though the Amazon site has them listed under the spa. Brookstone's customer service told me I can't even put any liquid soap in, or the jets may clog. This takes a lot away from the pleasure of the home pedicure, hence my rating of only 3 stars.

5well worth it.  Jul 19, 2006
By Eric Beich "be kind."
after carefull review of several brands and types of these I bought this on based on the reviews. dead -on! I'm glad I spent a little more because I feel like it is a good quality product.
I just got it last night and I cant wait to get home and use it again tonight. I have a typeII ankle sprain and a high ankle sprain and have been wearing foot braces for months and this is just what I needed.
Its not deep enough to cover my entire ankle, but for a guy with size 12 feet it is plenty big enough.
this thing is huge! water temp got very warm and the jets worked great.

3Feels great, but the effort is taxing  Jan 19, 2009
By Christina W. "Deal Diva"
I know - my husband's lazy. But that's just when he gets home. He's on his feet all day, so I thought that he would love a foot spa for Christmas. I did my research, and found this spa to be the highest rated, more bang for the buck. I was a bit wary shelling out as much as I did for this spa, when I could've experimented with the $40 spa around the corner at Bed, Bath & Beyond, but this looked to be the master of foot spas before you get to detoxification.
A few things you should know before you buy this:
1. You cannot use any bath oil or salts. Don't be tempted by the upsale on your screen flaunting them in the herd instinct. Everyone who buys this foot bath with those tantalizing salts realizes when they actually look at the foot spa manual that you can't use them. You will risk ruining the product. If you don't like the luxury of add in products, then you're in the right place.
2. It takes FOREVER to heat. I mean it. My husband, though a sentient of patience at his job, just wants to relax when he gets home. A half an hour to heat seems a little much. In his view, it takes too long. If you want to do yourself or your loved one a favor, heat it up 30 min. before you plan to get it. Personally, I dump the salts in the bath and save myself some time.
3. The foot bath itself is ginormous. That can be a good thing if you have larger feet and want to save yourself from buying another product and having to send it back. However, it's bulky to store and hard to clean. My husband just left it in the hallway ;o(. For a petite lady like me, that meant I had to haul it up to the bathtub to dump it. And he hasn't used it since.
4. Don't be fooled by the lure of the "massagers". They're rollers at the bottom of the spa, that you have to move with your feet. Lame! The jets, however, were quite nice.

In summary, this product lacks the luxury of the advertised spa. It's bulky, takes a long time to heat, and it's not cheap either. While I'm known for my knack for getting a good deal, sometimes you just have to ask someone personally how they like it. For me, it's a small price to pay for the knowledge considering I'm just going to buckle down and buy that hot tub after all.
