Awesome results...! May 17, 2011
By J. Tessier I was skeptical about buying anything far infrared, having no knowledge of how it works or whether or not it would be beneficial. I have been suffering with acute, chronic pain for the past year and a half, coming from muscle spasms. MRI of lumbar and cervical spine showed herniated discs... multiple in both areas. Lots of age related degeneration; spondylosis. I have heard that heat can actually cause inflammation. What I didn't need more of was inflammation, being a cancer survivor. Chronic pain is the author of inflammation. However, far infrared (FIR) therapy claims that it may reduce inflammation. That it could help with muscle spasms. For me, this is precisely what this heating pad seemingly has done. I care for a elderly lady. I sleep there at her home. I sleep on a cot, which is a vast improvement from an air bed, which I slept on for a year. Neither of these does my condition any good. When I awoke this AM, my back was very stiff. By the time I drove home and got out of my car, my back was in spasm. I had to stop and breathe, as these spasms actually take my breath away. As soon as I got in my home I fired up the FIR heating pad. 15 minutes on my lumbar, 15 on my neck. I was immediately relieved and haven't had a spasm since... and this is with NO pain meds in my system. I later did 15 minutes on each of my hips, which also cause me pain. So, like I said, for me, this FIR pad works wonders. I hope if you try it, it does the same for you. Blessings...

Best pain treatment I've bought yet! Jan 15, 2012

"it's never too late to learn"
I've spent a ton of money on getting treatments for chronic and acute pain...back, neck, and more....this infrared heating pad has been by far the best money spent. Sorry to focus on the money aspect of it but after all the co-payments, outright out of pocket expenses, products, meds, supplements, etc I've bought to alleviate my pain, it's nice to buy something that works well at a reasonable price. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. I use it daily and it definitely helps.

Very good heating pad Dec 13, 2011
By Tim Smith Although there are less expensive heating pads out there, I'm glad I spent the extra money on this one. This pad has plenty of heat on the highest setting like it should. I had to back off to a lower setting to make it comfortable but at least I know the heat is there if I need it. My only complaint is the cord is too short. Unless your couch or bed are right next to an outlet, you'll need an extension cord. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

Far Infrared Heating Pad Mar 15, 2012
By Marianne E. Cooke This item works well, with regards to deep tissue heating. The problem with this item is that it "balls up" within itself and it is almost impossible to un-Ball it. Once it was balled up we never found a way to get it flat again, we still use it but only get 1/3 of the pad to use it is an a ball within it's outer covering. technology great, execution not! would not reccommend this item.
